Ottawa Office forwarded my Application to Buffalo AGAIN !!!

GCMS stands for global management systems, Its basically your complete immigration file. it contains all the info regarding your file.

any news from your side yet? my ecas changed to " decision made" last thursday, however, we still didn't see them sent my passport back yet.

Keep tracking the prepaid envelope to know the progress of the passport return. No news from me yet, I had to apply for a work permit extension, so I am waiting for any of them now.

Do you know how long Ottawa office takes to process the case? i got knew that my file is in Ottawa file from MP office but they don't have much details yet. I don't know when they send my file to Ottawa-CPP, is it after they change my ecase status to Medical Received (back in October 2011) or they sent when i sent an email to Catherine(May 8,2012). Anyways any ideas how long does it take?

Did you receive the AOR from Ottawa? They mentioned in my AOR and MR the time frame is 10 months.

No adeeb they didn't mention in AOR or in medical form, i got AOR and MR is one post. Plus Ottawa-CPP never informed me that my case was get transfered from Buffalo niether buffalo did. Its something get new from my local MP. In july there will be one year to my medical test.

Mine said "Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to require on average 10 months to process at this office"

One year is too much for Ottawa, if you didn't do this recently; send them an email asking for an update, probably your file is done there and has been transferred back to Buffalo for final review.

I sent an email to Ottwa-CPP about 10 days before, all they replied is this:

"The officer responsible for your file will contact you if any action is required from you. "

Plus i tried to meet them in person today, because i live in Ottawa but receptionist of the building told me they don't meet in person to anyone so you need to communicate them via email, mail or fax. They didn't metion timeline in AOR i received from buffalo in July 2011.

So i suggest to order a GCMS. it will tell you exactly where are you standing.

Yup i requested GCMS just waiting for that one, already been three weeks since applied. Thanks Adeeb. did you hear anything from buffalo? Ottawa-CPP transfered ur case back to buffalo right?

Yes, they did, and buffalo is sitting on it, i don't know why. GCMS notes say RPRF and ready for visa.

wow, that sucks, when did they sent back to buffalo? did you tried to reach Catherine?

Since March 21st, I didn't try Catherine yet, as I am still within the standard time.
