I came to canada on 17 dec 2019 on study permit and at that point of time while applying for study permit, I got my police clearance from India on 12 Dec 2019. After that I never went back to India. Do I need to get police clearance certificate again??

Hi all,

I have been receiving ghost updates in the last few weeks. Usually they happen overnight on weekends - yes, I am an anxious type and I check my application dozens of types per day.
I had a total of 3 over the last week. Has anyone been experiencing the same? Is it the genuine update or a system glitch associated with their servers reloading around midnight, eastern time?

My application is pending since Sep 2019, everything passed in Nov 2020, medicals extended in Feb 2021. US, FSW-Outland.

You are very very likely gonna get the passport request sooner than you think. A lot of 2019 aor Ottawa folks got it this month. Congrats in advance, you deserve the great news!

Do you mean even for Outland applicants too? I’m 2019 May AOR EE Outland here and still waiting…

Had another call with the agent named Pascal, she/he was super cool and provided all the details I requested for.
Eligibility - Conclusively Passed (recommended pass on April 30th, it was passed when I called last time around 2nd week of may)
Criminality - Passed
Info Sharing - Complete
Security - Not Started
Medicals - Passed
BGC - We are Processing
AOR - 24th Nov
Stream - CEC Inland (No dependents)

@legalfalcon the agent told me my physical file is in Ottawa but Sydney, Nova Scotia office is helping to process the file. What does this mean?

When I checked my GCMS notes last time my secondary office was Edmonton

Thank you for your kinds words! I just don't believe in Canada anymore. It has been such a long wait that put many aspects of life on hold - and this is on top of COVID and H1B hurdles. We shall see, but I feel like my application has been deprioritized and backlogged forever.

Oh how I wish I was wrong, but I just can't be optimistic now...

Almost no PPRs are being issued to outlanders except for some residing in the US. Wait until the travel restrictions are lifted.

Application marked as approved since February. Jan 2020 AoR, US resident. On my GCMS notes I'm currently in the CPCO COVID PACE group. No idea how long this will take

Recently got my GCMS. Inf-sharing has been 'In-progress' since August 2020. Criminality, Security not started. AOR May 2020, FSW-O.
Is there anyone else with the same status, where the info sharing doesn't seem to be end
