If it's passed the officer review, there will be something along the lines of that in your notes, "officer review, file reviewed, eligibility passed". Are you an outland candidate?Hello everyone,
Does "passed" (not rec. passed) on the assessement page of GCMS notes means conclusively passed or the officer review is still needed?
Are you also FSW-O? What's your AOR?You are right Ottawa VO is a black hole for FSW-O applicants.
Glad to see some movement out of CPC-O, even if it's CEC.Application approved in CIC Account!!! , Waiting for COPR.

Yes I am FSW-O with AOR in May. Still waiting. Are you also FSW-O? What's your AOR?
Damn. Now Im worried.Yes I am FSW-O with AOR in May. Still waiting.
Looking at the dashboard on myimmitracker, even late 2019 AORs of FSW-O are not cleared. I'm not even at the beginning of the waiting queue.Damn. Now Im worried.
I just don't understand why applications are being sent to that office if it is already facing huge backlogs. Why not send to an office with a smaller backlog?Looking at the dashboard on myimmitracker, even late 2019 AORs of FSW-O are not cleared. I'm not even at the beginning of the waiting queue.
I think base on notes, may of those applications are processed and they are just waiting to get a final approval after everything is passed or renew of medicals or on hold for whatever reason.Looking at the dashboard on myimmitracker, even late 2019 AORs of FSW-O are not cleared. Ottawa has 9000 employees. There is no office that is large enough to share their workload. But I agree that inviting 5000 every two weeks when they are not processing applications seems to be a unreasonable move.I just don't understand why applications are being sent to that office if it is already facing huge backlogs. Vaccine rollout is difficult because Canada has no domestic capacity to manufacture vaccines. I am hoping the situation gets better as there are more supplies and the US finishes up vaccination in late Spring.I think base on notes, may of those applications are processed and they are just waiting to get a final approval after everything is passed or renew of medicals or on hold for whatever reason.

From vaccine rollout to processing immigration applications, it just shows the incompetency of the government.
That's exactly the point. Canada is the only G7 country that has zero capacity to manufacture vaccines and has to ask Europe to not cut supplies.Vaccine rollout is difficult because Canada has no domestic capacity to manufacture vaccines. In terms of processing immigration applications, it's hard to foresee how the pandemic is going. While I agree they don't seem to have planned it well, I appreciate the fact that they still sent out large volume of ITAs which demonstrates their commitment to immigration. What I fear most is a government that cuts immigration (possibly a conservative government).
You are not yet PRs and you think you have a say as how to run the country. Let's focus on the applications at hand and be thankful that we are even given the opportunity to benefit from the good of Canada. If our home countries were heaven on Earth, then we won't be seeking relocation to their country. Wait till you can vote there before forming opinions on how to run the country. #mypersonalopinionThat's exactly the point. A conservative government is coming if the current one is doing a crappy job. The liberals have a minority government and lost the popular vote in the last election.
