OOPNP - Recreate EE profile question

Hi Everyone,

I was hoping that somebody on here could help me out. I was considering recreating my EE profile (Score: 436) for OOPNP consideration as I read somewhere that the OOPNP consideration would only be given to entries made after June 1st.

More Importantly my IELTS score expires in August 2015 and I understand through the instructions that the score needs to valid at the time of applying for PR. My question is, if I recreate my EE profile, will my IELTS still be taken into consideration as the scores are still valid. When I created my profile back in February it accepted my IELTS, but I'm not sure about now, can anybody advise please ?

Your IELTS has to be valid at least till you submit the documentation after receiving an ITA.

I think you should immediately schedule your IELTS - even if you apply to OOPNP, it is unlikely that you will receive nomination followed by an ITA and submit all the documents by August and there is no sign of the 10th draw happening soon or the cutoff falling to 436.

Thanks for the response, I was thinking the same. Although it is confusing, when filling the eligibility requirements for the EE profile it asks for the date that the IELTS were taken and for the institute code. Based on this and other information I would think you receive the ITA, so even if it comes through after August, the scores and information provided in the application can be supported through documents. Why would I need to retake the IELTS, it does state that you need to provide documentation to support everything stated in the application. Only the OOPNP states that at the time of applying for the PR your IELTS should be valid, but I'm not sure EE states that. Can anyone clarify this?

Your IELTS has to be valid as on the date you submit your documentation after receiving the ITA and IELTS validity is EXACTLY 2 years from the date you took the test.

If you get ITA in the regular scheme of things even by end July and submit your application before your IELTS expires, you are good to go.

If you apply for Ontario PNP, it will take them a couple of months to confirm your nomination which you will then have to accept to be granted 600 points after which you will have to wait for the next draw to receive an ITA post which you will have to submit all documentation. In this scenario, your IELTS might not stay valid because there are multiple variable and checkpoints.

guys can any one tell that what should i answer to question 'have you applied to CIC before?' while recreating profile after withdrawing the old profile. I did not receive any ITA.
