Personally, I'll get more hopes once the Nov 2015 to March 2016 applicants get their nominations. Things started moving for Nov & Dec applicants. Let's hope it moves really fast for them

Guys, just wondering, is this stream uses EE or its own process (like Quebec does) to select its candidate, because I see a lot of people here waiting way too long !

it uses EE. it does not care for crs score. the only requirement is clb 7 on all french and clb 6 on all english and put French as first language. you get oinp interest letter like human capital stream.

does it's writing test have a pattern like ielts or not? i mean other than the minimum number of words? like how to start the writing, when to express your personal view, the style of the conclusion,....?

is there a topic about that?

I believe the goal is the same and the method of testing aims at having the candidate tell a story with his own words and sentences. They will check the vocabulary used, grammar, the flow of ideas , sequence of tenses etc.... I do not remember if there there is a minimum number of word. When I passed my test, I was given a situation in a restaurant when a guy just got robbed of his cellphone. I was required to complete the story in writing using my imagination (like a reporter).

Thanks for your reply, but if it uses EE how come I see in the table above some applicants have got just their AOR after a whole a year of submission, without speaking of nomination itself !!?
Another question if I may ask, is the application done online or do we have to send it in papers by postal services ?

i don't get your first question. You apply for the OINP after getting interest letter and when you are nominated you get 600 points at which point you get selected by draw as any other EE applicant.

The application is done by papers, you have 45 days after you receive the letter of interest to send the package to Ontario.

I remember counting the words in both of my essays. Don't recall the exact limit.

Yeah. Also would make sense.

The first is an article which has to be completed by your essay.
The second one is a typical second task at the IELTS exam.

Hello everyone ,

I finally received the pt letter of interest on Sep 6th , after having recreated my profile with French as the first language . I am almost done with the application and hopefully I will be sending it next week . By the way, after getting the letter , I switched to English as my first language and it still worked .( I think it was Dedicated who wanted to know if that was possible) . Damocles, I will let you of my sending date so you can update my info .
