Well do regulary send mails like every week or 2 weeks one asking about your status. Thats all.Aal_ said:So I sent an email today asking about the status of my application. And here is the reply.
Thank you for your email correspondence to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) mailbox.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) received your application on 9/30/2016.
Your application is currently pending review by a program officer who will render a decision.
You will be contacted should further information/documentation be required or once the decision is made.
What do you guys think? Does this mean decision phase? And how long will it take more?
Have you already forwarded your application. If yes, than all was paid if not I think you need to relogin and then you can change it.EDEN7 said:Hello Team!
Does anyone know how to change the payment option selected at the beginning of eAPR? (either both processing fee + permanent resident fee or Processing fee only and pay PR resident fee later)? Thanks.

No, I haven't, the transaction failed because of the set limit on prepaid credit card. Can one pay the The Right of Permanent Residence fee (RPRF) upfront after submitting the eAPR with the PR application fee first? I have a limit on my prepaid credit card and I was not able to pay the RPRF and PRAF at the same time. I am looking for alternatives. Thank you.vensak said:Have you already forwarded your application. If yes, than all was paid if not I think you need to relogin and then you can change it.
If you decide not to pay now they will ask you to pay later. Once you pay first part app. will be submitted. For the second part they will ask you and only then you can pay the rest.EDEN7 said:No, I haven't, the transaction failed because of the set limit on prepaid credit card. Technicaly you do not change your score, so you still meet the criteria. I think then you should inform about this change Ontario. Try to contact them again to check upon progress on your account.Aal_ said:Guys seeing the crs cutoff going down, how safe is it to switch and pit english as a first language? Will i have problems with oinp? With English as first language my score will be 440 versus 378 at the moment. Although I do not think the score will go this low next draw, I am thinking of doing the switch one day before. But I am afraid that oinp might have a problem? Please advise.
you are right about PNP is safer. I will send an inquiry to OINP asking about the specific case and how safe it is. Thank you. +1vensak said:Technicaly you do not change your score, so you still meet the criteria. I think then you should inform about this change Ontario. Having PNP is much safer when it comes to federal part (if ever your first application is cancelled because of some silly mistake, you can retry it as nomination is valid 6 months. While for direct CRS score you do not know if it will stay low or if it will go up).

=> Steps after OINP Nomination
---------------------------------
Now, the first thing to do is to accept the nomination in your profile. |Once you have done that, you will be allocated an additional 600 points to your CRS.
Next , wait for the next IRCC draw to receive an ITA. In the meantime start collecting documents such as a recent proof of funds, a recent employment letter , and book for the upfront medicals and get the Police clearance certificates(PCC) of all the countries you stayed in for more than 6 months cumulatively since you were 18 years old.
Once you get your ITA, You will have 90 days to submit your eAPR application on line. You will need the receipt for your medical to upload with the other supporting documents before you receive an AOR that your application is receive and the count down for remaining days before your ITA expires stops. if you are not ready yo can decline the ITA and wait for the next draw.
=> Money
-------
For your application, you will have to pay $550 CAD for you and every dependent who is older than 18 years and $150 CAD for the minors. If you choose to pay Right Of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) upfront , it is $490 CAD for every adult and $0 CAD for everybody under 18 years old.
As an example, for a family of 4 :
Fees
Application Quantity Price (CAD) per unit Total (CAD)
Permanent Resident Application Fee 1 $550 $550
Right Of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) 1 $490 $490
Permanent Resident Application Fee for Spouse 1 $550 $550
Right Of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for Spouse 1 $490 $490
Permanent Resident Application Fee for Child 2 $150 $300
Total Price (CAD)$2380
N.B. The fees will depend on you application case specific (number of dependents and ages).
But you can choose to pay the RPRF at a later stage.
=> next steps
-------------
Once you have completed the application, submitted supporting documents and paid the fees, you will receive an AoR. Then the wait begins... ( :'( and the constant checking of your profile for an update if your are not very patient to wait for email notification). Note that not every update will be notified immediately to you by an immediate email. Please do not be very obsessed as you might get very anxious, worried or depressed. Follow the other's candidate updates on the appropriate thread and contribute if you can.
you will be interested in stages like :
- Medical Pass;,
- Background in Progress ( it will go through Not Needed and Not Started before this stage);
- RPRF ( if you did not pay it upfront);
- PPR ( Passport request);
- COPR( Confirmation of Permanent Residence documents) and visa stamping in Passport;
- Application Closed.
The time frame , for the whole process, is up to 6 months as stated by IRCC. But who knows, you might be one of the lucky ones that receive a PPR within the first 3 months!!
All the best!!
