Applied for BOWP online on March 30 based on EE AOR dated March 11th. Eagerly waiting for approval as my current WP expired on April 16th.

That's about the same for me. My WP expired on April 13th.I was waiting to get the AOR, but since it didn't come in time I submitted the BOWP on the 12th.
Now me and my family are in implied status, which I don't really like. Had to explain for the school for my kids about the implied status.
No more OHIP health cards, not crossing the border....
So I also hope the BOWP will come successfully so our status will be OK again.

I submitted BOWP on Apr 10. I might be too optimistic, but hoping my PR will be approved before BOWP so that I can withdraw BOWP application.

That's about the same for me. My WP expired on April 13th.I was waiting to get the AOR, but since it didn't come in time I submitted the BOWP on the 12th.

Don't worry everything will be alright. By the the time they look at your BOWP application you should be having AOR or even your PR approval.

Current BOWP timeline is around 2 months. Since your BC is in Progress, hopefully you should get your PR approval before your BOWP. We never know.

Your Doctor will not wait for your confirmation. Once eMedicals number is created they are obligated to send the report to CIC no matter you submit your PR application or not. You should not wait either.

Hi rasber one more query , if you can help me please . As you received ITA in Feb, you must have LMO/ LMIA , would you please clarify me , do I need offer letter or employment letter , as I have LMO from my current employer.

I am working on a LMO based WP for my current employer. To get the 600 points for arranged employment, my current employer had to make an offer letter that indicated that upon approval of my PR application he is offering me a permanent position. The conditions had to match the LMO conditions. This is info I got from my lawyer who helped me with the application.
In the mean time my WP is expired (Apr 13), but the lawyer told me that the profile is locked in at the moment of submission. So for me it was important to submit my application before the expiration of my LMO based work permit to keep the 600 points for arranged employment.
