The processing time published on the CIC website has not been updated since Sept 30 2013. Does that mean the processing time we shall expect is the same? Why not update?

Hi Guys ,
I applied my PR to the CIO since 1 Nov 2012 ,then they transferred my file to the Visa office in Amman , and my application status is still application received since then , I did not hear from them at all
As I am already in Canada on OWP , I contacted a MP to check upon my PR status
the MP reply was that my file was transferred to Bucharest a month ago ,but I was not informed at all , nothing at all and the status of my application is still the same
The MP said that he checked with Ottawa immigration office , as they have a central database for all applications
I wonder if it is possible for me to check with Ottawa , any body knows how to reach them , any advice ?

I will recommend to apply for CAIPS notes, which might gives you more insight of your application.

I have applied in ADVO, I think there are more seniors than me, who already got Passport Request.

My VO is Hong kong, processing time is 14 months. It start processing my case on Jan 10,2013. Total 14 months has just passed. Pray the PPR arrive in minutes....

Hi Jessica, I hope ur PPR arrives soon. I got mine a couple of days back from Abu dhabi VO. So far its been 16 months since filing application with CIO NS. The published processing time is 28 months (they start counting from the day your application is received at CIO NS). Have you submitted CSE with your visa office to get a status update? You should also apply for CAIPS to know upto which stage your file has been processed. cheers,

I sent an email asking for status,the Hongkong VO replied on Feb 24 that my case was pending officer's review and would let me know instruction/decision in due course. Now 16 days passed, no response. I sent another email yesterday, now still waiting.

MER: 10/3/2013
RPRF and PPR: ????????????????????????

I was told under background checks in a reply mail on 10/16/2013. Was told my case is pending officer's review on 2/18/2014.
How long I have to wait ?
