you are right both will happen together. 23rd summit says number of invitees will increase. I think instead of increasing number of invitees they will make frequent draw's now. Might be three to four draws in month. The reason is if they give ITA to 3000 there will be work load so they would prefer weekly draw keeping same 1500 invitees. But it is sure the scores would drop down to 450 so you will definitely get ITA before March (assumption). I have just 438 so i have to wait for ON nomination.

I had received ITA on 2nd Oct. But it got refused as incomplete application because my ******* consultant uploaded some wrong documents. After that its all wait wait wait. Tough part is when i think that by now i would have been waiting for PPR :-\

bro that really sad to hear, bro you should put details of that consultant on here so that everyone is aware of such stupid consultant,
i am facing similar situation because consultant fault my Lmia got refused, i completely understand your pain

Hello to all the learned dreamers here!

I receive Ontario PT Notification on Jan 11, 2016. I have a few questions which I would be very grateful if you can help me with:

1. I do not have Funds (CAD 11931) in my account. I am planning to borrow from relatives if I have to apply. Is it a good thing to do? Will it affect my eligibility if I deposit he money now and apply?

2. What happens once I fill the application form and submit the fee (CAD 1500)?

3. Is OPNP separate from the EE ITA? Is there a separate form, fees that I have to pa if by chance Ontario accepts my application?

4. What will be th overall cost that I have to bear for the whole process?

I know its a lot of question but this would really help me know if I should borrow money to fulfil my Canadian dreams? #FingersCrossed.

@ bestofluck so sorry to hear that, i hope you are able to reapply.

My consultant made so many mistakes it was unbelievable and I am lucky that i checked these documents each over 5 times to make sure they were to my satisfaction.

Make sure you always double check their work cause even though they may feel they know what they are doing, there are individuals in this forum that actually know way better. There have been questions I have asked people in this forum before my consultant because I knew the answer she would give would prob make no sense but I already paid here for a job and wasnt going to let her go that easy.

Please always double check because it will cost us in the end.

It looks like the settlement funds have changed on CIC website on 12th January 2016. Requesting new OINP applicants to refer to this new information when entering/showing proof of funds.

PS: I have signed the application on 9th Jan 2016, couriered the application package on 11th Jan 2016 and application package was delivered on 13th Jan 2016. In settlement funds I have entered as CAD 14,853 but my account balance in savings is more than CAD 20,000 (2 family members including me). Hope this will not be a problem.

Why would it be a problem if you have more funds. Relax! You are fine.

This is regarding ECA, got reply from OINP:

Based on the information you have provided, the application will not be returned solely due to the ECA copy, if at all. Please wait until you receive an acknowledgement letter from OINP by e-mail before sending any updates to your file, other than updates to your contact information (e-mail address, mailing address). The acknowledgement will contain a file number.

Thanks You rajkamalmohanram . I am back in action, got ITA yesterday . Will be filing my application on my own and i suggest all people not to waste money on consultants. This forum has all the help which we require for filling the form.

Can anybody guise me regarding funds for OINP.
1. Can we show Provident fund as a part of fund??
2. Can we show fresh FD(Fixed deposit) because I am arranging funds from someone??
3. And if I am not showing FD then can i show balance certificate instead of bank statement.

Please guide me.
