I opened my bank account 2 months back so only have 2 months statements. My previous salaries were going in my Dad's account. Should I show 6 months payslips and dads bank statements with my bank statement?

Thanks!

You can't show an account which doesn't have the PA's name on it.

Recommend that you get the amount required for POF transferred into your account and simultaneously get a signed declaration from your father that this is NOT a loan extended to you and doesn't need to be returned to him. After executing this transfer, ask your bank to issue the statement as desired and submit the same.

Hi All,

A little clarity needed, does applying for OONP requires work exp criteria to be fulfilled from within Ontario or outside canada work exp would also suffice (for people with no Ontario links whatsoever)?

Thanks in advance.

Not mandatory to have the work experience in Canada. In fact, it isn't even a qualifying criteria (possibly tangentially it could be important as one would need significant work experience within/outside Canada to cross 400 but definitely not a direct requirement).

Actually its a long story. I had an account with HSBC which had a balance of USD 15,000 more than what the settlement funds require. Unfortunately, I closed that bank account because they were troubling me. I have 3 months bank statements from that bank until December 2014. My salary was coming into this account monthly.

The new bank account I got recently and has 2 months bank statements with a balance of USD 14,000 which matches the settlement funds requirement. My salary comes into this account monthly.

Now in between opening the bank account my salary was going to my father's bank account.

Now what do I do in this situation?

Thanks a ton for your help!

I don't foresee any problems even in the scenario as you have presented now.

You will have to add a letter of explanation to help the MCIIT and, after getting the ITA, the VO at CIC to understand why your bank statements don't have a history beyond 2 months and that's pretty much it. You have the monies required for POF in your case, those monies aren't encumbered and you can also vouch for the legitimacy of those monies if required - nothing else matters.

Hi ,

My CRA is 433 . I have completed one year of work in Canada,I have got the ECA report and also done my IELTS. Still i have not got a PT notification .
Is it mandatory that the profile has to be created after June 1st 2015. My Express entry profile was created In february and i had 295 back then and now with my ECA i got higher points .

Could someone give me a clarification on this ?

Yes.

Only profiles created on or after 1st June are searchable by MCIIT as of now hence it is a qualifying criteria for OOPNP. If you're interested in that program, you'll have to withdraw your EE profile, deactivate your job bank profile and re-do the entire process that you did in Feb. Recommend that you use a fresh GcKey and email id to avoid complexities that other users of this forum have reported.

All the best!

Hi Thanks for the quick response.

I dont mind creating another profile . but would it make me ineligible to be called during the normal rounds . Also would it be possible to create another profile with the same id and then delete the older one ?

You won't be creating another profile - that will be redundant as having more than 1 profile with the very same details makes no difference to your selection chances.

You'll be deactivating (withdrawing) your existing profile and creating a fresh profile so that you are eligible for OOPNP. Period.

This whole process wouldn't take more than a few hours from start to finish so you wouldn't miss out on any draws if you do this right away. Plus, the more you delay this the lesser your chances of getting an invitation (PT) from OOPNP because they have a finite number of nominations (2700) to give away through EE during the current year. The cycle of invitation to nomination is estimated to be anywhere between 2 - 4 months for 80% of the applicants and they have just started the program less than 2 weeks back.

Recommend you withdraw and recreate your profile with haste if you're keen on OOPNP.

All the best!

Thanks. But would it be on the same login ?

It can be using the same GCkey or you can create a fresh GCKey and proceed. Some members reported that creating a fresh key helped keep the process smooth.

Hi guys ! just to tell that I received PT notification letter from OOPNP on the 3rd June without deleting/recreating my EE profile (profile created on the 5th of May 2015. So I assume the did not start looking only on profiles created after 1th of June.

Congratulations!

But your case appears to be an aberration given that MCIIT clearly mention the 1st June requirement on their site.

Hi Guys,

I got the PT notification yesterday, so will be applying within 45 days
However, I will complete one year of stay in Ontario in this august, would that affect my application?

Thanks
