Hi All,

Kindly clarify my questions below:

1. For showing Proof of funds, is it required that Balance certificate/statements issued from my bank indicate the balance in equivalent Canadian dollars or local currency should be fine?

2. Should LOE (Letter of Explanation) be written on Govt Stamp paper notarized or on plain paper ?
3. What other documents should be notarized apart from Reference letter from my supervisor?

Kindly clarify.

The current balance in local currency and its equivalent amount in Canadian Dollars should be mentioned only on the bank letter/certificate. All other numbers should be in the local currency only.

2. Should LOE (Letter of Explanation) be written on Govt Stamp paper notarized or on plain paper ?
Plain Paper
3. What other documents should be notarized apart from Reference letter from my supervisor?
Only documents which are not originally in English or French, should be translated in English or French and the translated document should be notarized.

Kindly clarify.

I would like to suggest one modification to what sushsmart15 has said. CAD equivalent in the bank letter is not mandatory! Its okay if its there but definitely not mandatory.

Hello people who have deleted their EE profile and registered a new EE profile for OINP , please help

Since I did not get an OINP nomination considering there might be technical glitches, I withdrew my profile. So I can see my old EE profile in the CIC account and am lost as what to do next

Question is how do I proceed to acquire a new EE profile and link it to the existing job bank? I am very confused and not sure how to proceed. Can someone please list detailed steps in layman`s term? the same GC key and password be used again?

Secondly is it wise for the old profile to sit right there or should be deleted, if yes how?

I really appreciate your efforts, thanks in advance guys!

You can use the same gckey. You create a new profile in the very same way you created your earlier profile - there is no difference in the process. After creating your profile, update your jobbank with new EE profile number and job seeker validation code.

The following link will help you create your EE profile - expect you don't need a new myCIC account. You can create a new profile using the same account.

okay, and then do I need to answer yes to questions such as have you applied before, that links to my previous EE profile,, give old EE reference no?

Thanks

No. Say no to that question and create a new profile.

and finally now the old EE profile just sits in the CIC account and that is absolutely normal? I am not supposed to do anything with that right?

And the points that show in the CIC account will remain or get updated with creation of new EE profile, right? so no stress there!?

You can leave that profile alone!

You will have the same points as you had in your last profile unless you have changed any details(that affect points) in your new profile.

Guys, when I submitted my application, I have attached 6 months bank statement. In the last 6 months bank statement, I had to show 15k CAD through out. However, in some days, it has a short of 200-300 CAD. Will this going to create a problem? Addition to that I have around 5-6K CAD, I missed, the Fixed deposits to show as POF which on my spouse's name. What should I do now? Should I send these fixed deposit statement to strengthen my proof of funds?

bro, you do not have to show 15k CAD through out 6 months, but your ending balance should be 15k CAD but in this case you shall support the source of funds. In your case, it will not be an issue till the ending balance was equal or more to CAD 15k :) As for the fixed deposits, you shouldn't send it if your ending balance was same as required. otherwise it will delay your application as per my opinion. But, if your ending balance was below the requirement than you should send it asap :)

Thanks bro, my ending balance was more than 15k when I submitted my application. Then I should wait for the nomination. I submitted my application on 29th December. Hope everything will be fine...

I'm not sure if I follow what you are saying? Could you please rephrase it?
