I have couriered the documents on 23rd Sept but till date I have neither received any email nor a phone call.

What should I do next?

Guys,

I just got the nomination and I accepted it, but still I cannot see the 600 points added to my overall score.

Any idea, is it take some time to be reflected?

Thanks,
Mina

Hey guys,

I sent out my application package for OOPNP two days ago and just checked the tracking to see that they received it. How long do they take to send out an AOR?

Thanks.

10-12 weeks in case you are FSW applicant and 2-4 weeks if CEC

So after waiting 5 months oinp telling my frnd that she doesnt qualify bcz she had a 3 yr advance diploma from within canada n not a uni bac degree! Y send the PT then AOR n take the fee n then mention this now? N she even asked before applying n was told that she is good to apply by oopno :o even on cic website there is one option to chose from bac degree or 3 yr diploma since u get same points for both. Will she get her fee back or not? She made a huge mistake by chosing to apply for oinp she is sitting at 420 points , now cab someone plz advise how do we find out if she can claim points for a trade certificate she has its for international business n was awarded by FITT (forum for international trade training) which is affilated by a college that cic accepts, so can she claim points 2 or mkre certicate or dioloma under education , any help plz?

What obligations do we come under after we accept the nomination? How long do we need to work in the province which nominated us before we can move out? In what situations would it be ok to move out even before the expected timeline?

There is no legal obligation as such. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms - Section 6 [Mobility Rights] allows any PR or Citizen to freely move and settle anywhere in Canada but you DO have a moral obligation to stay in the province.

While applying for citizenship, you might be asked about the reasons as to why you moved. If you have rock solid reasons, then it might be okay. In the end, you must have sincerely tried to establish yourself in that province. If you can prove that in spite of your best efforts you were not able to stay (for whatever the reason might be), you will be good to go.

Hi All,
I'm going to submit my application but not sure whether I should attach any supporting documents for the periods when I was unemployed, for example, studying at some 6-month course.

Would be grateful for your advice.

I dont think it is necessary to add any additional documents for unemployed periods. You can add homemaker, travel or course in the description for your unemployment period anyway.

That should be more than enough as long as you have proper documentation for all work and study periods that you claim for points.

All,

I am about to submit my application to OINP but have question regarding IELTS TRF.

Do we need to submit original TRF or a copy? on OINP website, it says original and in the application guide, it says copy.

Anyone who have already applied and have received a nomination, please help!

Thanks in advance!
