Hi chigirl,

Congratulations and Good Luck in future endeavours.

Thanks
Lee

Thank you Lee. I will see you in Canada:)) And good luck to you too.

Just wanted to let you folks, that my ecase status changed this morning to "Decision Made". Notice that Buffalo received my passport for visa stamping on March 7th.

When I click on the link it says:
We started processing your application on August 5, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Here is my breakdown of the above status change.
The lines in blue have been the same since Sept. 2010. It seems the Buffalo office simply appended the line in green today. So I am not sure what it means. Does this mean they actually stamped the visa or it is simply a delayed computer entry on the decision they made before Bufallo asked me to send my passport. What you guys think?

You visa is stamped. this happened in my case. my file was in NY

How long after the "Decision Made" change of status you got your passport in mail? So I can start expecting it and plan to get it in person as normally I am at work during day time.

Thanks.

Hi All......Just want to share my good news with you. I just received my ppr.

Would like to thank each and every one of you for being there with me through this excruciatingly long waiting period. Special thanks to Jasper and vsrao....must have looked at the spreadsheet a million times.

Joseph, lights, ell.bee, avalap, rajesh, unique......thank you.

Sudhir and Jasper......I have a feeling your pprs are on their way. Our applications were all submitted at the same time and we received are AORs within days of each other.

Now...for one last hurdle.

They Took a week before mailing it. yeah its better to be home to collect it. In my case it was friday, and package went back since was requiring signature on delivery. I had to go to Postal office and wait untill 5 P.m for postman to come back with it. But it was worth :)

Thanks King80 and Legalcitizen,
I do have my prepaid return USPS Express envelop so that will help, but need to notify my boss ahead of time to take the day off and get it in hand. I am glad you guys got it and hope the rest of the folks also get it. I guess time to start preparing for the eventual departure and settlement in Alberta, Canada.

Thanks.

Wow thats really good news. Congrats to you !

Congrats Chigirl!

I also received PPR this morning! Super excited!

My timelines is in my profile

What I've noticed: Your address disappearing is GOOD! My address disappeared in ecas and a week later I got IA; disappeared again and I got PPR

Thank you everyone for providing all the useful feedback! I will still come back and help anyone who applied after me if they have questions; like people have helped me when I needed.

Tip: Send complete documents to save time!

YAY! Very happy

Hi Immigration09,

It depends on when the baby is due.
If you are expecting the delivery date to be 6 months from now, then no need to inform them so early but if the baby is due in the next couple of weeks/months and you are planning to have the baby's name added to PR application processing, then Yes.

In my opinion, you can add the baby's name to the application only after the baby is born.
