Glad to know that I wasn't the only one whose status changed today. At first I thought it was abnormal that my status finally changed since Sept. 2010. Yeah hope we both along with everyone else get it soon. Please do share with all when you get the passport back. I will do the same the day I receive it back with the maple leaves.

ohhcanada, my status also changed to decision made today morning. Buffalo received my passport on March 10th, Hope we will soon get it back with the lucky sticker

It is pretty simple. You just put description like 5 boxes of clothes or 2 boxes of kitchen items and put the approximate value. Make sure you have your CAR TITLE if you want to import it.

What I've noticed: Your address disappearing is GOOD! My address disappeared in ecas and a week later I got IA; disappeared again and I got PPR

My Address disappeared this morning when my status changed to "Decision Made". But I just rechecked it, the address and the change link has Re-Appeared this PM. Strange behavior, it disappeared in AM and reappears in PM. Some kind of code bug?

Buffalo Received my PP on 3/7/11 and cashed my RFRP on 3/17/11 so and today the ecas status changed from "In Process" to "Decision Made". Haven't yet received my PP yet, I hope to get it soon though.

I am not sure if you can extrapolate any pattern from the links disappearance and reappearance business as far as the PP mailing is concerned, but seeing the "Decision Made" made my day today.

I am still waiting. When I send a mail to NY, they said on last Friday my application is complete and in queue for notification. I am not sure how long I have to wait. Chigril time line and mine are almost same.

Sunderjeet did you pay RPRF already? I know chigirl did. Do you guys advise me to pay now or wait till they ask.

Thanks Virgo. Yes, I had already paid my RPRF. If they say its in final review, hopefully within the next two weeks.
Regarding RPRF, I don't think it makes a difference whether you pay it now or later. It doesn't seem to delay your ppr. If I'm right NY has been asking for RPRF along with ppr.

Importing Your Vehicle:

Guys I have started researching steps to follow if you want to take your vehicle/car along with you when we get our PPR and move to canada.

1. Go to http://www.riv.ca/ImporterChecklist.aspx

Put in information for your vehicle and build your checklist.

2. First point in the checklist is "Vehicle admissibility". It has links to the pdf/html document stating each vehicle type and if it is admissibile.

3. Next step is to contact you vehicle manufacturer to have them send you mail/fax letter that you vehicle is not in the category of recalled vehicles.

I will post the rest of the steps as i move forward.....

If I am only doing my landing and importing my Car later when I move finally, what do I need to do at time of Landing? Is it just list the car on the goods to follow list or is there some more documenation to be done.

Anyone who has already done this please explain.
