We transferred your application to the New York office on January 18, 2011. The New York office may contact you..

I received an email from NYC Office:

==============================
Please be advised that your immigration interview is waived pending receipt of all the documents mentioned in this letter and passing medical exams. We strongly encourage you to submit these documents in one package, whenever possible, to the Canadian Consulate General in New York. All documents have to be submitted by mail. We do not accept documents by email. Be sure to quote your file number on all the documents you submit to the Consulate.

- The following processing fees are outstanding: Right of Permanent Residence Fee for yourself and your spouse. Please visit our website for specific instructions regarding fee payments

================

What documents i need to submit? Do i need to submit only RPRF fees only?

Thanks

Dear_Pnp,

My file was transferred on Oct 26, 2010 and I received RPRF request on Nov 22. I sent the fees by fedex on the same day and it reached NYC on Nov 23, 2010.

I sent email enquiry on Jan 10, 2011 and I was told that the fille is in final stages of review and that they received the RPRF.

However, i know two people whose files were transferred on Oct 21 and Oct 29 to NYC and both of them got their PPR and visa's issued.

One of my observation is that there is lot of consistency among the visa offices in maintaining inconsistency. Some visa offices (Say Detroit) are asking for proof of funds, employer letters..etc.
Some visa offices (say LA) allow in-person submission of passports. Some visa offices (say Buffalo) sends a standard email reply...etc

I am totally clueless why my file is still pending. As of now, peace and patience are my oars and i hope SOME DAY they will row me to the other side of the border.

On a lighter note, I never thought my passport photo on the CIC application looked so SCARY!!! :o :o :o

Congrats Jonty,

Yes, You just need to send the RPRF amount. Check the website for the latest RPRF fees.
I took Money Order from USPS and sent by FEDEX.

PS: Make sure you keep the MO/Cashier check receipt safe, just incase you need to follow up whether its enchased or not.

Hi Friends,
I dont see any recent post where anyone did landing other than Alberta, can you let me know if I can do my landing to Toronto? My H1 visa is expiring in couple of months and renewal is in process.
appreciate any help or if someone can post experience about landing to Toronto.

Thanks so much for your quick reply Avalap.

>>Please be advised that your immigration interview is waived pending receipt of all the documents >>mentioned in this letter and passing medical exams.

Above statement which i have received from NYC office is confusing to me. I dont have to go for medical exams again right. I have sent my medicals 5 months ago to ottawa, canada.

Did you receive the same above statement from NYC office & you just sent the RPRF amount.

Thanks
