Thank you all for your support and advise that I got from this forum.
Now I have a question for the PR card.

Did anybody tried using a Fedex mail box Address to get PR card?

Good Q, but we are reading that they would ask for a residential address correct?? Do u know if fedex Mail box would give like a real address or a PO Box Address? Do u think they would not deliver to those addresses?? As in US some Govt documents wont be forwarded to a forwarding address if its ON.

Seniors Members we need your help ... >:(

I have already paid the RPRF fees in December without buffalo sending me the request. It was encashed 2 weeks before my file was transferred to NYC

I am reading that some Mail Box Providers can give like a real address with Zip Code and all... Can we use this to deliver PR Card?? Has anyone tried this?? They normally ask for the address where we stay correct?? If we give any of the mailbox address can they validate or do they validate it?

or can we tell them until we find a home we will be staying in hotel that is why we are using this alternative address. i also dont know how we can open a mailbox without entering into Canada??

Friends,

Congratulations on getting your Passport Request and File transfer emails. I wish you good luck in your future endeavors.

Movetocal -: Going by my case, you can expect to get your RPRF by email within 1-2 weeks of your ecas status being updated to medicals received. As a precaution, Do keep an eye on your spam emails too.
Hope this helps.

Hey Avalap.

Is your e-cas showing as "medicals received". Mine is still in process bro.

Hi Everyone,

I am new member of this great helpful forum. I have been a silent reader for past 6 months though. My timelines are included in the signature.

Question: For those go got the PPR and those who are waiting to get PPR from NY consulate, what is the eCas status? Few days back my status was changed to "Medical Received", I am wondering how does NY consulate send the PPR requests and make sure I did not miss it (if sent via regular mail) while I was on vacation to india for last 6 weeks.
.

Hi my file got transferred to Ny the same day as your's (01/05/2011), but my status still shows as In Process and when i click it i can see a comment "We transferred your application to the New York office on January 5, 2011. The New York office may contact you. "

I think some one told me that they send it by mail

First off, you are welcome to agree or disagree with my point of view. But, if you want to call my statements childish or anything else, you can go take your conversation somewhere else.

In March 2009 ( when I sent in my application to AINP),
1 US $$ = 1.26 Canadian $$, which meant if I had $50,000 USD, it would translate to $63,000 CAD

Today
1 US $$ = 0.9906 CAD, which means if I have $50,000 USD , it would translate to $49,530 CAD
So, does this seem like a small amount to you?

You see again I will call this post of yours as a childish one. I do not understand why are you counting the rate when you filled up your ANIP application i.e Mar 2009. What I said is the amount you mentioned in the CIC Additional Supplement form for provincial nominees, the form you signed and sent it to CIC. You certainly did not fill that form on Mar 2009. So why are you counting that ANIP form.

Moreover, if there is any difference in the xchange rate, let there be and show that the amount is less now due to xchange rate. its okay for the amount to be less due to xchange rate. But the important thing is it should be near or around the figure that you quoted.

Good luck, I am not trying to offend anyone out here.

My case also in NY and still waiting.

You needed a whole day to go do your research and come back and show your one oneupmanship?

Look, I am not going to sit here and flog a dead horse. I have expressed my point of view and I stand by it. You can carry on the rest of this conversation by yourself.

No I am not trying to show that I am right. Okay clean the slate now and focus first on getting our PPRs. We will not have this conversation anymore. Now cheers ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Dear_Pnp

My e-cas was updated in Nov 2010 with Medicals Received. After a week or so I received the RPRF email from NYC.
