I would like to share an interesting piece of information. As you know I have been sending all kinds of email to Buffalo. Last week my file was transferred to Detroit. I sent more emails to Buffalo office, Detroit office and LA office (as I wanted to transfer my file to LA). In addition to emails I called Buffalo and Detroit on Phone also. Although the phone are connected to automated messages only, the Detroit office had this massage "office is closed on Thursday". Interestingly, I received email reply from Detroit on Thursday. Something doesn't add up.

My file for permanent residency has been transferred from Buffalo office to your office. I am moving to Southern California now. Can you office transfer my file to LA consulate.
