Not sure what content of that email is confusing. It's pretty clear...
Go to CIC Canada website and look for these forms. It is quite clear that they want the 0008 and the two 5406 forms to reflect your child's information. Send all docs by courier.

Hi,

Please help me I have questions. I received email from CIC to send IMM0008 Generic and 5406 for myself and my spouse.
However, I am not sure from where I can get latest forms? I am confuse I think they changed the forms?
Do I need to send photos of my other members too? Can I faxed them all documents and money order?

I'll appreciate your response.

EMAIL from CIC

In order to add your child to your application, we require the following documents:

processing fee for your child (if accompanying you to Canada)
your child's birth certificate
copy of your child's valid passport
3 recent photographs of your child
updated IMM0008 Generic for yourself and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse.
a “Certificat de Sélection du Québec” for your child ( in his or her name), if you wish to immigrate to the province of Québec (http://www.micc.gouv.qc.ca/fr/index.asp)
Copies of the original documents with original certified translations into English or French are required. All documents must be sent by mail or fax (see fax number and address below).

Your child must undergo a medical examination. We will send you the appropriate form upon receipt of the documents listed above. Be aware that even non-accompanying dependants must undergo medical examinations.

Thanks

This is just based on my observation statistically speaking i guess visa are running out and simply equates voluminous visa issuance early january 2011. Hope i might be wrong so that we can receive our maple leaf stamp in our passport. --Peace out everybody--

Thanks for the reply

I checked the form IMM0008 and also read the instructions both do not match. I think they updated the forms but didn't update the instructions. I don't know may be I am getting the wrong web page?

Can I also send money order copy by fax along with other forms?

Hello Everyone,

Latest on my waiting experience. My rental lease expired. So, in order to save money, I put my belongings in a storage and started sharing one bed room with a guy. I have been this sharing situation for last three months. To my surprise one more guys joins us after I move in. It is a one bed room apartment. The lease holder stays in bed room and we two guys stay in living room. All three of us share the rent equally. It turns out that the guy (lease holder) is very unclean. He has never vacuumed the apartment as he never had a vacuum. Finally, I bought a vacuum. He never cleans kitchen. He made this statement "why clean kitchen because no one is going to see it". I am like "wtf". Recently I started having bug bites. I asked him to call the apartment people to take care of the problem. After inspection, it turns out that we have bedbug. We are having bedbug heat treatment next Friday. This is the only effective way to get rid of bed bugs. What they do it is to heat the apartment to 120 degree. That kills all bed bugs and eggs throughout the apartment, including all belongings. This take about 6-7 hours. The cost is 1200 dollars. I cannot move anywhere before Friday because I may end up taking bedbug with. So, I have to spend rest of the week in this apartment. The leaseholder wants me to split the cost, because it was me who asked him to make the phone call as he did not have any issues with bed bugs. I am still debating if I should share are costs. I am not on lease so not legally liable. Second, I had to suffer for no fault of my own. Yeah, waiting for PPR is that easy.

See you had options here you could have moved out of apartment and then you could have changed mailing address with buffalo cic,it hardly takes a week to do so.

"What they do it is to heat the apartment to 120 degree. " --->I'm surprised here..you wooded apartment will burn out at 120 degrees..

why will you have to pay for the pest control. the apartment complex is the one who should take care of the bugs. if they are not willing to take care you can contact the county office for hygiene issues and society heath hazard and let the lease holder or apartment complex management figure out who to deal with.

try this butane based bug repellent. it works for me at camping.

There are only two way in which bed bugs and eggs can be killed effectively. One is heat treatment and the other is extreme cold. Apartment complex will not burn at that temp. This is good for me that I will be moving out after the treatment so all my things are clean. I do not want to take bed bugs with me.

I talked to that apartment complex people. Apartment people are not responsible for bed bugs but they are responsible for other pests. Bed bugs are not a heath hazard as bed bugs do no cause any disease. So, this is not an issue in the list of county office. Bed bugs are know to hitchhike. Chemicals do not kill all bed bugs and eggs. The next generation is more resistant. Bed bugs can survive without food for a long time. There is an epidemic of bed bugs in US.

you are right the apartment people are responsible for other pest like your lease owner. ask them to take care of that pest :p

Hey, has anyone gone to the Buffalo office for visa stamping? Do they return passports same day ( they say so on the website) and how many hours does it take to get passports back?

Thanks
