The instruction says we should arrange medical exam within 60 days, however I'm pregnant now and can not do X-ray until the baby is coming at the end of Sept. What should we do right now? Anyone was in the same situation, pls advise, thanks a lot.
BTW, medical exams need 2 passport size photograghs. Is this "passport size" referred to US passport or Canada passport or home country passport?
cooldeepforyou said:Hi Symmetry,
This refer to canadian passport size...and i checked in waalgreen, cvs , and rite ad but no one does canadian size..so i went to a personal photographer in a mall who did that luckly ..
Other members who've gone through medicals have mentioned that a regular US 2x2 photo will do just fine for medicals. So you don't have to follow the stringent CIC pic routine.Manny said:I think it's the same deal as when we sent pics with the CIC application - right? It's the size that's different. I just got the American size passport photos and cut them to size required by Canadian passport!
Oh, really, this is good.hoogirl said:Other members who've gone through medicals have mentioned that a regular US 2x2 photo will do just fine for medicals. So you don't have to follow the stringent CIC pic routine.

To Manny: I checked the Canadian passport photo specification. It's larger than US passport size (2 3/4x2 vs 2x2). So I think we cannot cut from US size into CA size. Here is a link for CA passport photo instruction.
