Hi All,

Is every one who is receiving AOR / Medical Requests also getting request to submit RPRF at the same time ?

This information will help all members to better understand the estimate time, that he /she will receive their Pass port request.

Thanks

Hey Symmetry!

My wife was pregnant during the application process. We received requests for medical exams. The doctor advised that an X-ray isnt good during pregnancy. He noted it on the medical report. 2 weeks after the birth of the baby, we received a mail from CIC NY asking for 4 things:

1. The pending Xray for my wife.
2. Medical results for our newborn baby
3. Nomination addition of our baby - I called up AINP in Alberta and they added him to the nomination and let the people in CIC-NY know about it.
4. A form (dont remember which) for adding my newborn baby as a dependent.

I did all this - and it added a good 3 months for them to move to the Passport Request stage.

Hope this helps,
G luk to you and your family.

Need help.....We just got AOR and medical request yesterday. The instruction says we should arrange medical exam within 60 days, however I'm pregnant now and can not do X-ray until the baby is coming at the end of Sept. What should we do right now? Anyone was in the same situation, pls advise, thanks a lot.

BTW, medical exams need 2 passport size photograghs. Is this "passport size" referred to US passport or Canada passport or home country passport?

Hi Priya,
did you get RPRF fee mail with medical?
I received medical last week but it didnt say anything abt RPRF fees. Should I send it?

albertatj,

They didn't asked specifically ,but there was something like "you need to pay RPRF ,if you have not paid" .

So I send it,if it is same with you ,send it man.

albertatj,
RPRF fees is 490$ for each person. But I don't have any idea about kid.
Why don't you search previous posts on this site ? Because so many applicant who have kids passed this stage.
Hope will help a little.

My ecas status has changed. Now it is showing "In Process" with additional details, "Medical Results Received". Can any one tell me what this means? I am wondering if I am going to receive a PPR or there is still a long time for that.

Guys,

Hope you can answer this question. Me and my wife are currently living in different cities. Is it possible for us to do the medicals separately ? I have not seen the forms yet so don't know if that is possible.

Thanks,

CIC in the medical forms ask to get the medicals from the same doctor if possible.

My wife is in India on vacation so I email ed them abt the situation.
They said doct has to be a DMP thats all

Thank you so much!!

Please advise should I mail them my PR fee even though they did not ask for it when they request for medicals in Dec. 2009?
It just has been sooooo looong time to wait so I hope it might speed up the process.
What do you think?

AS per the website they say RPRF fees can be paid anytime.

Happy 143rd birthday Canada :)
