Online Visitor Visa for Wife's Parents - Dec 2017 Timeline

Submitted online visitor visa[December 3, 2017] for wife's parents staying in India.
No update till now except Submission confirmation.

Did you submit a representative form?

Is it required if I use my parents email ID and CIC account to submit application?

If I submit representative, do I need to submit application my my CIC account?

No update till now ...

My in-law application was submitted on Dec 14 and no updates still..

However, My parents application was submitted on Dec 9 and they got passport request on Jan 2 - They have previous US travel history and may be considered under CAN+ program for faster processing.
