Online TRV- Waiting for more than a month

Hello guys,

I am new to this forum.

I need your suggesstion about TRV application.
I applied for TRV online at October 11, 2013. Though the website says they are processing application received at October 28, I haven't received any thing from CIC Ottawwa. I sent them two email asking for the status but no reply.
I am a bit worried as I am planning to go to my home country- Bangladesh on December 24.

If anyone have any suggestion on what I should do, it would be great help.

I applied on October 28th and haven't received any communication so far. CIC website says they are processing November 6th applications.

I have applied for a TRV on the 28th Oct to the New York Consulate, and have only receive a message for the submission of my application. And I was wondering where on the website can you see the date of visas they are processing

It is under Check processing times, then New temporary resident visa...!!! Hope this will help you

I see. Thank you. Those are submitted from within Canada. Mines was submitted outside of Canada I guess there is no way for me to check that and only wait for the 35 days from the New York Processing Center.
I guess I will have to email them to ask about the status of my application

Today I received reply from CIC and they said they cannot tell me processing time for my application.

Does anyone have this thing before? I am really worried.

Did you mention in your email that you have travel plans in December?

As a matter of fact, I did. I also sent another email today mentioning that It is advised to apply at least 2 months before any travel plan at CIC website. Lets see when they answer that.

I applied on Sep 6 for TRV online. I have to transit through Canada on 17 Dec. I havent got any reply yet. I sent them several emails but I never get a reply.

I applied for TRV on 12th of november and just got email from CIC today to submit passport. It worked great for me so far, hope to get the passport back soon as well.

P.S: Did you fill the Schedule-I form when applying online?
