I'm assuming that's the reason why our application is taking so much time. We aren't supposed to fill out that form unless we answered "YES" to any question between 5 to 8 in the main form. Who knows, they might be doing some sort of security check.
I am in the same boat. I applied for a canadian visa from US on 25th of September but I still have not got any response. I am from Bangladesh too and hold an F-1 visa here in states. I already went to canada once as a visitor last year but I never faced this problem.

When I selected type of work permit "I have work permit Bound to some specific employer"
It ask me to upload EMPLOYMENT RECORD ..
WHat is that ?
