Online Applications applied in the month of April 2016 Pls update your time line

Applied on 4th April in Muscat, Oman
Biometric completed on 20th April.
Still no reply :(
 
Applied for wife Online on the 21st of April (within Saudi Arabia)
Biometrics submitted on 24th and reflected online on the 27th.

Nothing since then.

Following is the timelines:

24th April 2016. - Applied- ( Paper Application @ VFS -Muscat).

30th April 2016 - Linked my application to an online account.

05th May 2016 & 09th May 2016 - Received 2 emails - That my application has been updated and but when I login to access my acct nothing comes up, I don't see anything .

what next nw?
 
Applied on April 5th from Hyderabad , my passport was dispatched from Bangalore today, expecting its delivery by tomorrow , hoping for approval of visa keeping fingers crossed

Hi OmVerma

My wife also applied for Visitor Visa online on April 14th but after passed medical, nothing happened. Did you try to call CIC? I have tried to call on 1888-242-2100 but the agent said she would not be able to tell anything as application was applied from India. But the question arises, I did not apply from India, I actually applied online and even I am not sure where they will process the application. I am not sure if VFS India would be able to help us in this case, any idea?

It will ne your closest visa office for the address your wife listed. Dehi Embassy replies actually quick on where your application is. I applied for my parents online in Canada as well whereas there application is processed in Chandigarh

Thank you for your advice. Can you tell me which number you were calling and what kind of detail they provided for your application at that time?
 
Not called anyone, my lawyer just emailed every single visa office in India and only Delhi embassy replied that your file is in chandigarh embassy and we will forward your request to them.

My application got refused and I received the an email update from CIC, when I logged into my account I found a PDF file which states that my application is refused.

Reasons:

Family ties in Canada and Country of residence (My wife is in Canada and my daughter is in India, I showed that I am travelling alone by keeping daughter here in India)
Purpose of Visit. (for my anniversary which was on 08 May and I got refusal letter on 11th May, 2016)

I am totally upset by this application processing time. I dont know what to do now?

Hi All,

Following is the final timelines:

24th April 2016. - Applied- (Paper Application @ VFS -Muscat).

10th May 2016 - Checked status at CIC account, status updated "Final decision - This application has been approved"

11th May 2016 - Email received - Your passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, Abu Dhabi ,to Canada Visa application Center, Muscat.

12th May 2016 - Picked up passport with visa stamp of multiple entry up to the day of expiration of my passport. ;)
 
My parents received the passport request today.
Shall I book the tickets now or wait to get the visa in hand.

What is the nearset safe date to book the tickets, so that I get the passport back by that day

They will submit the passport in VFS DELHI on Monday . Any idea, How many days it will take to get back the passport
 
My timeline for my mother's TRV application is as follows:

April 29 - Visa applied online from UAE (2nd attempt after paper application through VFS was not successful in obtaining a visa)

April 30 - Received an email saying that the application has been updated. Logging into the MyCIC account shows nothing new.

May 9 - Received an email saying that the application has been updated. Logging into the MyCIC account shows nothing new.

That's it for the moment. The processing time for online applications from the UAE is 18 days but it seems that others on the forum are reporting delays.
