24/April - Biometrics submitted
27/April - Biometrics accepted
14/May - Passport requested
16/May - Passport submitted to VAC in Jeddah

Its too much for me now. 11 April Applied and its more than a month now. Very disappointing service by CIC.

Oh man that is terrible. I remember I applied for a TRV on 28th March 2016 via VFS Dubai and they said it would take 3 weeks for it to get processed. It came back in 3 weeks but unfortunately without a visa (as it got rejected).

I guess the processing times mentioned on the website are not something that you pin your hopes on.

I Applied for TRV Online. I am a Chinese student applying from UK.

I am going to attend the undergraduate research program at Fields Institute for eight weeks this summer.

Transmitted on 22 April (Processing time at the moment was 6 days)

I have not heard back from CIC. I also have submitted the webform (case-specific enquiry) yesterday and the automatic reply email said that the reply from CIC will come in approx. 10 days.

I am going to leave UK for China on 13 June and my planned visit to Canada is 2 July, so I am a little worried.

Parents and Sister applied for a TRV online on April 8th,2016. Got passport request for parents today 17th May,2016 and Sister's Application refused.

If it says "Review of biometric information: Not needed at this time" then your biometrics have been received.

I was just wondering how can my passport reach Vienna(Austria) on the same day it reached CVAC Dusseldorf (Germany).
Can any one please tell me how long It may take to receive my passport back?

Applied for simple TRV on Jan 26th.

Applied from VFS DUBAI but still not response.

Wife and 2 kids are Canadian and we usually go for summer break.

But around 4 months no response ; contacted them do you need documents anything : no response.

Usually Canadian visa center in UAE was pretty efficient lately seems very backlogged indeed.

Maybe we should apply for winter break since TRV processing here might take 8 months now.

I also applied TRV since May 7 and still no update from UAE VFS. Thought they say it will take 18 days.
