The fee is $255 ($155 + $100)

As soon as CIC receives your OWP application, they will check to see that you have submitted the Inland sponsorship application (which is how you will qualify for this pilot program OWP). According to CIC, it takes ~ 4 months to receive it.

If only you had included an OWP with the Inland application, it would have given you `implied status', meaning that you would not have had to even apply to extend your visitor visa, but...C'est la vie! ;)

Good luck!

That's amazing too bad ive spent $100 for the Visit visa extension.

But thank you dfor your help i really appreciates it.

Im glad i don't have to submit anything aside from that form lol.

Hi is that true information 100%??

my implied status will expired in next couple days and I will get 90 days for restoration. So if I apply within 90 days with owp and spouse application I don't need to apply for visitor?

it hasn't been 4 months yet. so if it takes 4 months, you have until AT LEAST may 26th before potentially receiving anything. it is still not proven it will ONLY take 4 months from the day the application was submitted.

I called to CIC today and they just said that there is no such an official time frame for the OWP under the Pilot Program, but the 4 months are the time that CIC has to open an application, so they asked me to call back by mid May 2015 :(

Has anyone got OWP thru pilot project since Dec 2014?

I have called CIC twice in the last couple of months and they have assured me I would have the work permit within 4 months of sending the application. I don't know who is being misleading about this whole thing but there seems to be a lot of different opinions on the matter and different things being said to different people. Hopefully things become more transparent soon because for me personally, I am dying to start working and plan my future.

Yes!
(see my post two above yours).

Since that person applied in January, their OWP that they now have IS the pilot program OWP.

ya, thing is they submitted it with the PR application, so maybe it is processed differently than OWP sent separately.
