Old passport, new passport for visa

Hello
If I have two years left on my old passport, which I used to apply for a tourist visa, and I want to get a new passport, is it possible to ask the immigration office to transfer the visa to the new passport? And send both passports to visa office.

duration of visa is not guaranteed
maximum is till validity of passport or validity of biometrics whichever comes earlier
you could get a 10 year visa on new passport or 2 years
so it all depends on your case
do you already have a passport request?

Yes I have and the passport of my country valid only for 5 years.
