I have a question about something else if you know anything about it I really appeciate it . So I have a sponsorship application going on and after all that process I need to apply for authorization to return to canada one of the officers told me that before my deperature so do you have any idea how many months it takes are they doing backround and security checks again with that process ? Thanks a lot don't work hard we need you in this forum ,take it easy ;D

Braveheart09 a million thanks. If you are Canadian Citizen and they ask you to show your intent to go back to Canada they don't do background checks at all unless I am naive about it. You are a Canadian citizen and you can return to your country anytime you wish. The reason why they ask that is because you'are doing a sponsorship for someone and they want that person you are sponsoring to come with you since he or she will have to stay in Canada for 4 years as residency obligation requires before aplying for citizenship.

Braveheart09 a million thanks. If you are Canadian Citizen and they ask you to show your intent to go back to Canada they don't do background checks at all unless I am naive about it. You are a Canadian citizen and you can return to your country anytime you wish. MY question.CIC ask me to pay landing fees and ARC fees and i did it august 13 still i am waiting for response from them.My background checks start Oct 2014 till July 2015. When MP contect with CHC Islamabad they told him background is done and we receive RPRF and ARC fees we just waiting for ARC approval.Do you think my case almost done just wait for PPR.Thank you

I'm confused about whether my file is actually in process (London VO)

Application Apr2014...went IP 23JUN2015...we had 5 lines...about a week ago open CIC site and we now have three lines and the IP date changed to 11JUN2014...they removed the third line and the 5th line...both of these lines had indicated they had requested info and we did submit that info...We have interview on 03NOV2015 in LA and there is no mention of this interview...As for the medical we did med up front...then CIC requested more medical info...we have come to find out that our Case Manager is not able to open the emedical file that CIC CREATED...it took 2.5 months for them to tell the CIC Dr this...the written report has been rec'd by CIC but they want the physical xrays...I personally think this is someone quantitying their job and support the outrageous wait times...this info being mailed will take at least a month and then with CIC track record 2 to 4 months to review...So just cause something says IP means nothing...and we are proof that even if it does say IP CIC can change the dates as they please....

Jimmy64 I still remembering you. If I were you I would not even worry about anything lol. Your case is 1% away from issued a visa. All I know you want to see if the Canadian sky is blue or pink lol, the sky is also Bleu in Canada. You will land very soon probably in winter.

I havent heard of anything or request after the confirmation from my visa office in April.
My medical is going to expire at the end of this month or beginning Nov.

What do you think of my status so far? Am i going to get DM soon?
I ordered my GCMS on Oct 10 because I do know many of Dec (or even Jan, Feb 2015) applicants of Hong Kong VO have got their PPR already.

Nope sorry don't see it...I have not seen. A single case USA to Canada that has an interview not at the closest Visa office and I do not see any info on a case that went in process 23june 2015 and two months later was updated to 11june2014... No case that went backwards by a year and I do not see where info requested in a line.. Two lines was removed and the middle line left!

Hi cutietal,

Your file looks matured and ready for DM anytime. You should not be worried about the expiration of Medical because there is a likelihood for them to request a 6 months or 1 year extention then take a decision right away. As long as you don't hear anything Cutietal you need to relax because your file is old and expect PPR anytime soon. Best Regards!

Nope sorry don't see it...I have not seen. A single case USA to Canada that has an interview not at the closest Visa office and I do not see any info on a case that went in process 23june 2015 and two months later was updated to 11june2014... 1. We received ....... application for permanent residence on December 10, 2014.
2. We started processing ...... application on March 31, 2015.

I sent the medicals with the application, but there is no line that they recieved the meds. What can you tell me about my situation Eagle.
