I don't think any JAN FSW guys got the request, however, since all the December guys got the request, it is almost certain that we will too..
Thank you. That's what I was looking for. On my part, I am going to wait until I get a formal email from them so as not to cause confusion but I guess that's an individual decision.

Individuals submitting an application to either of Ontario‘s Express Entry streams – the Human Capital Priorities Stream or the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream – must provide an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report for education obtained outside of Canada. An ECA report is used to verify that education obtained abroad meets the education requirements of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program’s (OINP) Express Entry streams.

All applicants to the OINP must provide an original ECA report or a copy of the report as part of their application package. Further, the process for individuals to authorize an ECA granting organization to share information with the OINP differs by organization. Please review the information below to learn more about the process for the organization with which you have an ECA or to which you will be applying for an ECA.

If you have any specific questions about the process for getting an ECA, or about how to provide authorization to share your ECA results with the OINP, please contact the ECA granting organization with which you are working.

Please also note that the information in this program update supersedes information found in the OINP application guides and forms for the Human Capital Priorities Stream and the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream.
Comparative Education Service (CES)
Applicants to the OINP must submit a copy of their CES ECA report and must authorize CES to share the results of their ECA with the OINP by filling out the following consent form: http://learn.utoronto.ca/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Release-Information-Designate-OR-Withdraw-Representation.pdf.

If you have not yet applied for an ECA you should include the consent form as part of your ECA application package. If you have already submitted an application package for an ECA, you should fill out the form and send it to the CES by email. Please include your CES file number in the email.

International Credential Assessment Service of Canada (ICAS)
Applicants to the OINP must submit a copy of their ICAS ECA report. The ECA report must be included as part of your OINP application package. If it is not included, your application will be considered incomplete and will be returned to you.

Medical Council of Canada (MCC)
Applicants to the OINP must submit a copy of their MCC ECA report and must grant the MCC authority to share their information with the OINP. To do this, you must go to your physiciansapply.ca account and send an email to the MCC service desk which gives consent for the MCC to share your ECA report with the OINP. Please be sure to enter “Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program” in the subject line of the email.

Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC)
Applicants to the OINP must include the original ECA report issued by PEBC as part of the application package to the OINP. If it is not included, your application will be considered incomplete and will be returned to you.

World Education Services (WES)
All applications to the OINP must include a copy of the applicant’s WES ECA report.
You must also authorize WES to share the results of your ECA report with the OINP:
•If you already have an ECA
If you have an existing WES ECA report, you must order a duplicate of the report at: https://www.wes.org/ca/apply/xcopycic.asp. The “Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, MCI” must be indicated as the recipient of the report.

•If you do not have an ECA
If you are applying for the first time for an ECA report, you must select the “Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, MCI” as a recipient of the report.

If OINP sent a separate email request to all December applicants, I think they will do the same for the January applicants as well. As I mentioned before, it's an individual decision whether to wait for this request or send it without being prompted.

Thank you. But getting back to my original question, have any FSW outland candidates received a request from OINP for the ECA report to be re-sent directly AFTER having been told in the AOR that their application is considered complete? The question is purely factual: have any FSW outbound applicants received such a request or not.

This is one of the new requirement placed after December 04, 2015.

"As of December 4, 2015, applicants to Ontario’s Express Entry streams – Human Capital Priorities and French-Speaking Skilled Worker - are required to have an original or official copy of their Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report sent directly from their ECA-issuing organization to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), at the address given below for the Attention: OFFICER – HM.
Note that fax submissions from ECA organizations are not acceptable."

World Education Services (WES)
All applications to the OINP must include a copy of the applicant’s WES ECA report.
You must also authorize WES to share the results of your ECA report with the OINP:
•If you already have an ECA
If you have an existing WES ECA report, you must order a duplicate of the report at: link The “Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, MCI” must be indicated as the recipient of the report.

•If you do not have an ECA
If you are applying for the first time for an ECA report, you must select the “Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, MCI” as a recipient of the report.

True, +1 for this reference. Somehow, I am not allowed to post links. May be newbies are not allowed to post links.

Makes sense in a way. In my case, WES delivered the report to OINP in a day for the already evaluated ECAs. So one may not loose significant time, by waiting on explicit doc request from OINP.

Guys we predicted that by this week Jan applicants will start getting request for additional documents...but no such request has been reported.. again everything is going slow :( wait is like never ending wait

Hey Guys,
I received my mominatiom yesterday and i got 600 points added to my profile.

Congratulations! :)
When did you receive decision phase email?

Looks like applications of CEC candidates are getting processed faster. Reason is for most of the CEC candidates draft got clear at the time of AOR itself as their expiry was more than 6 months. So their file was not put on hold. While for most of FSW candidates, draft was returned and meanwhile file was on hold. I guess for FSW inland applicants also processing should be fast with this logic. Let's see how it goes.

Congratulations!

Guess they are still working on the CECs. FSWs gotta have to wait for a few more weeks

Hi All,

I know this is not the right forum but I am just trying to be proactive!

I need to know where and how in Ontario can I get my PCC for Canada done?
Can I get it done from the commissionaires or only RCMP is authorized.
Is there a forum? Can someone please guide me to right forum :-[

Thank you and apologies in advance :(
