Hi guys, I am new to this forum but I have enjoyed reading your posts so far and I hope for the best for all of you. I am a January 2016 applicant, FSW, Human Capital Priorities Stream. My application has been hitch free so far until a few days ago when I turned 31. My score on Express Entry went down to 394 from 400. I have been depressed since because it looks like the end of the road for me. I just find it strange that Ontario's (who sent me a letter of interest) rules seem fairer than express entry...for example you get a maximum of 12 points if you're between the ages of 18 and 35 but under express entry my score dropped from 105 to 99 because I turned 31. It just seems unfair and really hurts. My profile expires December 12, 2016 and the next available date for an IELTS test (which I earlier did reasonably well in) is January 2017. I'm so frustrated but good luck to you all.

Ontario Notification of Interest received - Dec 17, 2015
Application sent -J anuary 15, 2016
Application received by OINP - January 21, 2016
AOR received - August 2, 2016
FSW - Outland
IELTS Test Scores - Writing (7.0), Reading (8.5), Listening (7.5) Speaking (7.5)
Nomination/Decision phase - pending

Greetings to All,

Got a request from ONIP to send the ECA report from WES directly on 24th October. Did so yesterday. And thanks for this forum I also applied for refund from WES today.
Question: Are they done or they might ask for more documents in coming time?
Do they ask for documents one by one or all the missing/required documents in on go?

Just wanted to understand whether the file is moving or its routine work in progress request.

Got confirmation about refund of 33.75 CAD from WES.

Hi Maplecity,

Don't be discouraged. There's hope yet, I had a very issue as well. The drop in age will not stop them from processing your documents. Read on page 278 on this forum where I stated my own issue as well.

I hope you feel better after reading.

or better still click on the link below.

1) Your age at the time of OINP AOR is considered for overall OINP processing i.e. CRS Point drop due to age has NO impact on your OINP application, even if your points go below 400

2) IELTS score expire after 2 years (refer to date on your TRF report). If they are expiring within next 3-4 months then only you should plan to reappear for IELTS again

About the company
My job responsibilities (My job title doesn't have a NOC so I had to choose the one close) Officer was trying to understand my title.
Start Date, Last Salary received

I don't remember specifying my company's phone number anywhere in OINP application. However, my company's front-desk phone number is included in the employment verification letter I submitted. I work for a renowned IT firm, but I am not sure if the person at the reception will be able to redirect the call when/if the OINP case officer calls. Two questions:

1. Did anyone specify exact phone number where employment verification can be done?
2. In my case, what happens if the case officer calls and doesn't get directed to the right person?

1. My HR had signed the employment letter mentioning "contact below for any further information. But she left the company, they called that number for verification and cleared queries with one of the HR who answered the phone.
2. I don't know if they asked to redirect the call to the HR who signed the my letter.
