@Bestofluck, @MZASAM...I think we are forgetting that OINP had issued AOR/Nomination to CEC whose WP was expiring. I am sure most CEC wouldn't even bother registering on a forum and instead concentrate on their future and alternatives. So that number of 1800 may be real and also there were lot of rejections.

Lets see what direction it takes from here on.

There are total 5400 NOM's as announced by OINP for all streams. Irrespective of whether CEC applicants are on the forum/ off the forum

OINP declared, that they will process all the applications.

IF 90 applications are recd per day and A Courier takes 5 minutes to deliver and get the sign per package it is 450 minutes/day just signing and receieving ;D

5400 nominations to be issued in 2016:

given the ITA size 800 (let's say 900), that means even if all ITAs were given to OINP nominees they won't get over with those 5400 nominations by year end!

no to mention that even the nomination won't guarantee the ITA as we will be competing with each other based on the slight CRS differences, in which the 600 pts of nomination will be meaningless!

Also keep in mind that all 5400 cannot wait for subsequent draws forever as the nomination certificate expires after 6 months and won't be renewed!

we're in a deadlock situation due to procrastination of OINP !!

When the backlog of pre-EE applications is cleared, Express
Entry will be the only source of applicants for FSW, CEC and FST
Expected number of ITAs will increase to 2000 to 2500 per draw
= between 4000 to 5000 ITAs per month to meet Economic
targets for 2017
This will significantly decrease the Minimum Points required to
receive an ITA – expected Minimum Points to be less than 400
