No actually. My manager is immigration consultant. He attended the meeting. From there he got this.

if it was an official function carried out by CIC to make a formal declaration, it would've been announced in their news section.

The guy in the video clearly says he is a cic officer. He used to work in vatious visa offices all over the world. That was hardly a sales pitch

I called OINP and they told me i have been issued AOR on July 19th, however, i did nor receive any e-mail, I request you all to call them and confirm ur status.

I have sent them email for same, aside how do i get my file number now.

No way. When there was a Draw of 1500 more than half were with PNP. means only 750 or less were from the pool. Now with the rise in draw size to 2500 it will benefit both. the pool might get a ratio of 1000 to 1200. So good for all. They will try to maintain that 50-50 ratio.

as I said, anyone can say anything.

what he says or said doesn't oblige CIC in anyway.

Again, if anyone saw an official news from CIC declaring increase of ITAs or plans for the same, please share the link

OTOH, Min. McCallum announced "officially" that now the refugees targets are met, they'll look into "humanitarian" streams and not a word about CEC or FSW classes.

which means the best case scenario is that the current ITA size will be maintained for quite some time, if not lessened

yes, but PTs were working continously without that "pause" which will only cause an influx of PTs that EE system won't absorb without forfeiting the benefit of the +600pts.

again, no PROOF OF LARGER DRAWS

Besides, 2500 ITAs every 2 weeks is unrealistic!!

CIC is bound by 200,000 newcomers (immigrants & others) every year

There are 10 applicants of December who are in same situation. AOR is surely given to most of you. Just hope they send you a copy of AOR. Good luck guys
