Does ONIP sends back the old DD first or they wait for the new DD to arrive and then send the old one back? I need the old DD to re-issue it. Sent them a couple of mails but no answer yet. Got my AOR exactly a week back.

Advice??

They should give your old dd back. It takes 10-15 days.

Get hold on someone over the phone, and ask for tracking number. They must have already sent it by Purolator (Shipping Company).

A-bhi, I think you should send the new DD and wait for the old one. If you miss the 30 day window you will be at a loss of time and effort.

According to my rough estimation, if everything goes smoothly, JAN OINP Applicants should get "Passport Request" by June 2017 :-X
