Today Ontario sent my file back saying File Incomplete, Photos missing, but i had attached Photos to my file and the specification was also correct :'(

The officers lost it and now i'm being blamed :'(

Nikolai, plz let me know how you got your package, at what time, when was it sent by OINP.

I'm worried about my package. My app was delivered on 15th Jan.

I called them but the person on the phone says this decision is final and wait for November for the program to reopen.
I said it is your mistake that you misplaced the photos why should i suffer, she said then send a mail to ExpressEntry@ontario.ca and explain your situation to them, so i sent a email to them just minutes ago.

Why is that each time it has to be my file, first Quebec and now Ontario

..... right now the only way is to follow what they said. and I sugguest you to write the email with gentle& kind words or ask any professional lawyer to help with this email. I really believe they will understand your situation.

I think I read, recently, somewhere in the forum, someone also had their package returned due to "missing passport pages" (which, according to the applicant, he/she included). So this person actually went to OINP office and argued his/her case with a manager and the manager actually accepted the package back.

Since you are living in Toronto, you might have a chance to visit their office and argue your case, because of "missing photographs" is absolutely ridiculous.

Did you have your photographs returned when you received your package back or were they really missing?

No i did not get the photos back, they actually misplaced it, the photos and Demand Draft were attached side by side.

This is really sad to know I never thougt that OINP can actually misplace the documents which applicants submit so religiously.

Hope this is not being done intentionally.

By the looks of it OPNP is getting desperate now to get the monkey off their back and bring down the backlog of applications.... there fore the rejection rate has gone up suddenly and re-application has been stopped all together...

i reckon we guys have to be double careful now, coz the worse thing would be to wait for 6 months with no info what so ever and then suddenly get rejected for a lame reason which was acceptable 3 months back

Hi prashantduggal, my application reached OINP on 4th of January but I took the DD in the last week of december. I have not got any mail/call from OINP for expiry of DD. Do you think I should just wait for it or should I reach out to them?

Did you ask OINP for your status of application? If not, then send them email and try calling them.

As, OINP has reviewed most of the Jan applications, and you've not got any rejection or your application package back so you can also assume that your application has been accepted.

According to me, OINP checks applications date-wise. If you see the list, applicants with submission date of 28th Jan are being rejected, which means they have checked most of the previous date applications.
I myself, 26th Jan, applicant has received e-mail of reviewed and accepted.

So, if someone's file is incomplete then they might have already sent the package back.

Just see the pattern of below list, you may get the idea too.

Still not yet got even AOR.
What is to be done in case my DD becomes time barred and not yet encashed.
I checked from my bank, since it was on overseas DD, they cannot have access of its encashment in India.

Expired DD is not a problem anymore. Read point no# 13 in below link.

Most of the Jan applicants are waiting for AOR, just look at the above list.
