Hi Guys,

I received my AOR just now..

Application received date : 29-Jan-2016
File number : XHEC-11621****

In my DD receipt file number is not same as file number in the AOR, rather it is same as case number in AOR. Is it the same for all ? Do I need to contact them for this ?

To me, it sounds like the number you claim as file number is actually your case number.
Do you have anything like XHEC-1604XXX?
If yes, that is (4XXX) your file number

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT RECD AOR EMAIL

seems like more than 35 applicants have not recd the AOR or AOR email, much more than the December group with 9 applicants ! OINP is making serious mistakes while hurrying in giving the AOR's. For all those who dont receive the AOR email and it has a request for new DD will face a big problem because the 30 days get over while they receive the duplicate copy of AOR.

ALL THOSE APPLICANTS BEFORE 28TH JANUARY WHO HAS NOT RECD THE AOR MAIL PLEASE FAX THEM AND GET YOUR DUPLICATE AOR GIVING THEM CONFIRMED EMAIL ID AND ASKING THEM YOUR FILE NUMBER

It says in Subject "Acknowledgement Letter" XHEC-16-11630----

and In Body its says The ontairo Immigrant Nominee Program has received your applicaiton. Please see attached for details.


But I do not see any attachment. Please suggest what to do.

That's so bad of OINP. They are setting examples of bad work.

Try calling them, and explain same. Write email too.

Don't worry, you have your AOR, it means everything is fine. Over call, don't forget to confirm if you have to send new DD or not.

Also, ask for file number too.

I am a Feb applicant waiting for AOR. I hope my DD will expire before they issue AOR. Will they ask for new DD before issuing AOR or they will issue AOR and then they would be asking for DD simultaneously.

I applied for PR under family sponsorship. I also included a open work permit application in the same package.
