Yes my PGWP expired recently. I applied for PR by family sponsorship, together with an application for an open work permit.

I did call them and also sent fax to let them know my work permit is expiring. That helps, *I think*.
Before my work permit expires, I have applied for PR by family sponsorship along with an application for OWP together. I am still working, under IMPLIED STATUS.

This is what I've been asked:

Updated proof of settlement funds –
6 months of recent bank statements showing current savings

Proof of work experience at WORK –
6 months of bank statements showing regular salary deposits (if account is different from above)
T4 and Notice of Assessment for 2015
Employment reference letter that meets the following requirements:
Printed on company letterhead and identify company address, telephone numbers, email and website addresses;
Identify the responsible officer/supervisor and include his/her signature;
Stamped with company’s corporate seal (if applicable);
Specify: employment period, position held, detailed duties and responsibilities; total annual salary plus benefits; number of hours worked per week; and any extended period of leave

Any additional documents/information to support above

Over the phone a very nice lady asked me about my title, and my salary. That's pertty much it. Very simple questions.

CEC, Application sent on Jan 23 and received by JJan 29 (according to OINP). AOR Received - 10th Aug 2016

OINP ended up making so many mistakes trying to speed up giving AOR's. More than 25 applicants not recd AOR emails !!!!! Most of them must be sent to wrong email IDs and they will struggle a lot to get the one in time. Some more precision required at Their end.

Agreed, but you dont have to keep repeating this same line over and over again

its a little annoying
Not as annoying as teenagers roaming the roads trying to find pokemon lol

someone had a question saying what happens if the points fall below 400 during the process

during process is fine, however if I'm not mistaken OINP states that you need to withdraw your application if the score falls below 400 at any stage during the process... Im not sure if they have exception for age, but I remember one guy in the whatsapp group withdrew his application for the same reason.

can you not write IELTS again and improve that score ??

I repeat it because I don't see people caring about those who have not recd AORs. They just are removed from the list and kept in the bottom. After few days you might remove them just to show all green. Think of the feelings of others.
