OINP Masters Graduate Stream - Query

I want complete a one year masters degree from an eligible publicly funded university in Ontario so as to make myself eligible for the Masters Graduate Stream of OINP;

After successful completion of Degree program, I'll be given an year of Postgraduate work permit (Since my study span would be one year).


I want to inquire that, "Would that one year time be sufficient enough for my provincial nominee to get processed and PR grant successfully"

or

should I seek a two years degree so that I get 3 years of PGWP and PR be processed smoothly even it takes more than an year (It it does take more than an year)


Suggestions, advises and sharing of personal experiences will be highly appreciated

If you complete your masters in one year, it does not mean you will get only one year permit. you can get 3 yrs permit if your masters program is a 2 years program, there are so many examples of this. Now see your offer letter for program duration...

In case you got only one year permit and no way to extend...then its really hard to get all done by this time...But if you get nominated from pnp or get application number from cic, you can extend your permit as BOWP.

I assume you are trying to say that if somebody completes a two year program in an accelerated pace, i.e one year, he'll get permit as per two year program rule; but if the program itself is a one year 3-term program; permit issued will be of one year I assume
anyways, you are right, one is a tight schedule for pnp to be processed as pnp takes considerable amount of time and processing overheads.
