Hi All,

I have a question on settlement funds:

"Settlement Funds-

Provide proof of unencumbered and readily transferable funds in a convertible currency available for settlement in Ontario:

• Current bank certification letter; or
• Evidence of savings balance; or
• Fixed or time deposit statements."

Apart from savings and fixed term deposits, is it possible to show the funds under EPF (employee provident fund) or PPF (public provident fund) and will OINP/CIC accept these as proof of funds?

Before you can show, can you double confirm that those funds can be fully transferable in the event you are moving to Canada.

1. What AOR
2. I applied as CEC and looking to retake English test to increase my score... Is that advisable ? Do i need to resubmit my EE Again.
3. Is there any Quota for OINP ?.

Hello guys,
My application reached OINP on jan21, under cec stream.my work permit is about to expire July end.just a thumbs up ,I got AOR yesterday June 8.good news for whoever is waiting for so long.But, what should I need to do know?Just apply for visitor visa until I get nomination or am I eligible to apply BoWP..please guide me

Why not just extend the work permit ?. How man points do you have for your EE Profile.

I don't know if it's possible to extend work permit based on AOR from OINP....does anybody did it before and did they get it .my CRS score is 443

IMO, It is not possible but at the same time It is not impossible either. If we do not have any choice then I would go with paper application for BOWP which gives us approx. 90 days to buy some time. After that even if they refuse after 3 months we can continue work till the decision (I am not 100% sure but may be we can work), we have enough time to call them and submit additional document (meantime we should get our PNP nomination and federal nomination and eAOR from CIC). One of my friend is going to do the same thing, will keep you update on that. Hope this will help. Good luck to us.

You need to provide the EE#, job bank validation code, date when app sentn date whn app reached, first name and last name. In the email, politely request them to let you know of the status of your application considering the days passed by. Hopefully they respond.

Hi Raj,

I submitted my all physical docs along with Fee of 1500 of Ontario PNP on 7 Mar 2016 (received on 9th Mar 2016) by OINP.

But my CIC PNP status is still showing as No Nomination this time. How do I inform CIC that I have received the Ontario PNP and awaiting.
