Hi everyone,

I applied for OINP under human capital stream (EE) on 23rd Feb, 2016. Below is my timeline:

AOR: 17th June, 2016.
Phone call for verification: 21st June, 2016
Submitted required documents: 21st June, 2016

On same day I got reply saying that your application has been sent to senior officer for further processing.

I haven't got any response since that day.
My work permit is already expired on 26th June, 2016. When can I expect PNP?
Thanks.

Hello February applicants!

This login is created (thanks to @usmibrahim) to update the progress of February 2016 OINP applicants. Please leave your updates without quoting the entire list. We will update it as early as possible. If you don't see an update re-posted, it must have been updated in the last list to avoid repeating the tracking list too many times.

It feels great to think that our time is nearing :)

@rahulimmi: I saw you had updated with your AoR information. Sorry, I forgot to make a note of your AoR date. Could you post your timeline and details again?

I have applied bridge WP (Paper based application). It takes 3-4 months. Meanwhile I get time to stay here and continue my job. I know I will get rejection. But, I am buying time here.

Thanks for sharing an important info. Could please let me know once you get your nomination.? I am little worried as I applied for visitor record and I am confused do they issue nomination if I am on visitor record. Please let me know if you know something about it.

Hi guys,

I have got a basic but very important question here. I want to understand why applicants try so hard to stay in Canada after expiry of WP? Many of them stay on visitor visa or student visa, few just apply for WP and buy some more time when they already know their application is going to be rejected. They cant even work in Canada. What would happen if they go back to their home country when province is processing their application? Isn't it a better option rather than staying jobless in Canada? What if person is not able to manage extension of WP, visitor or student visa?

I completely understand that after provincial nomination or AOR from CIC, one can apply for BOWP which is a good option to stay in Canada because person can also work in Canada, while his/her application is being processed by CIC.

Please clear my doubt.

Thank you.

Well it depends on the cost of going back to your home country, staying there in uncertainity and so on... I'm probably also assuming some stay on and work odd jobs illegally ? I think its more of a mental state you know, you feel like you are more in control if you are still in canada rather than being outside looking in... But I'm sure there are more reasons. I honestly dont know what students do if their extension permit is rejected, most of them have to go back...

They have issued AOR to 25th January applicants ( as per list) only applicants between 26, 27, 28 and 29th January remains...30th and 31st being weekends no application recd. So I don't think it will be as late as August end but by 15th August February AOR;s will be coming.

December applicants took 2 Months and 20 days to get 103 AORS, while January applicants took just 1 Month and 9 days to get 103 AOR. As promised OINP is diligently working on to improve the process.

February and march applicants will all get AOR in less than 1 month, once they start getting them

Prediction purely based on observation

You can expect the first AOR while January 28th Applicant is also getting AOR. It is observed there are 2 officers working on AOR. so One will be working on 26th and 27th January app. from Monday and the other will be working on 28th and 29th. From Monday we will see AOR for 26th and 28th January applicants and Thursday we will see 27th and 29th. 15th August Monday is the expected date for AOR's of February applicants. Hope this happens.

Good luck to February applicants.
Things happening as predicted :D :D :D :D Are you all ready for the AOR's?
