OINP Application sent in November 2015

Hi Everyone, I am Jan applicant and I have a question. Since this is the most watched thread on OINP apps now, I am asking my question here.

I am an Indian, living in India right now. I am leaving for UAE for 3 months on a Visit Visa after next week. I discussed my situation with my consultant, but he said, I need not inform OINP about all these until I come back.

Don't rely always on what the consultant says; educate yourself on the processes and take decisions accordingly.

I don't want to loose my nomination chances, especially after a long and anxious wait for AOR, just for a leisure trip.

Insist on your consultant, to add your email in CC and keep checking your inbox for any info from OINP from anywhere.

What do you all suggest? Should I inform OINP now(or probably a week after I reach UAE) or after I come back?

No harm in informing OINP. You would be safe.

Do we need to mention our international travel to OINP? Is it stated in the aplication guide?
I must have travelled internationally more than 10 times (4 to 5 days on each occasion) in the last 7 months , I will soon be getting a new passport and was planning to send copies of new passport and copies of the old with all these travel stamps etc.
I have never informed them of my travel. Should i? Members with experience, please suggest.

you don't need to inform them about each time you go out of the house, you're not married to OINP

i wouldnt inform OINP for a visit visa...

Is there a "change" in your status , meaning change in employment ? Answer is no, so i wouldnt care... but thats my interpretation...

But if you are going for 3 months, and you have quit your job (I'm assuming you are leaving your employment in India searching for a new job in UAE) after you applied for OINP, then you definitely need to inform OINP.... Otherwise dont think you need to inform.

However, I would keep my indian number switched on at all times while in UAE, and answer every call with a Canadian or unrecognised number, even if it costs me a fortune

hahahaha sometimes waiting for OINP's comments or mails drives me so crazy that i wanna think of alternative ways.....

Wish these Express Entry.guys knew about this fact so that they stop wasting our time by making us go through unnecessary process to qualify for it.

Practically this immigration procedure is running and aiding a billion dollar industry. Why there is no data available for this. So that if someone calls me immigrant and is using their country's resources than I want to shove this data on their face and tell them how we are helping their economy.

Similarly each year US makes more than 50 millions through their Green Card program.
