No news about November applicants. I have sent them an e-mail today telling that it has been 140 days since AOR and have requested them to provide me with the status of my application.

I have sent them my personal information update email today. I also asked them the status of my application as its 100 days since I got the AOR. Awaiting a reply. Will update if at all I get one.

I sent address change request in May and they haven't responded to that yet. I would appreciate if they could provide us with updates so that we know what's going on.

In a freak incident, I lost my passports (my wife's as well). I have applied for new passports and I should be getting them in a fortnight's time. Should I inform OINP right away or should I wait till I get the new passports and then inform them of this?

I checked the EE profile, and there is no provision to explain this at the moment. What do you guys suggest I do? :(

Wait till you get your new PP and update them once you get it. Mark the e-mail as "Urgent".

I got information from another forum, an OINP file No. issued on Jun 28 is XHEC-16x2990 , another OINP file No. issued on Jun 29 is XHEC-16x3008, so the OINP office at least issue 18 AORs per day? is that their work efficiency? So slow!

Problem is Canada is known for sudden changes/halts in their PR process.

Atleast if OINP tells us that you guys wont be nominated and here is your fees back....this trauma will end.

Not gonna happen. They have already cashed the DDs. It will be utter embarrassment to MCIIT and they might face legal charges. We have come this long - We will certainly hear from them - Accepted or Rejected. Its only a matter of time. I have grown more patient since I have realized being restless does no good - you will not get your nomination immediately if you become restless and go on a rampage mode.

That's true. When we know for sure that we cant force them to respond to us, Its better if we can stay calm and be patient. OINP is bound to make a decision on all applications they received - at least for the ones they already issued the AORs. A bit of transparency from their end would go a long way in calming our anxiety. But again we are not the ones deciding here.

it's mentioned in the form's footnote that they will not acknowledge receiving it.

BTW, did you submit the completed & signed form by snail mail or fax? note that email doesn't work for them as confirmed with them over phone

I called OINP today for the status. The rep mentioned that my application is still being processed. My application is with senior officer for final review... how long will he/she will take ... WE HAVE NO IDEA!!! :P
me: :( :o ???

There are only 3 senior officers so the queue must be long.

that's what they said over the phone.
also on the top of the form itself it says only those to options without pointing out an email option

Hey, can anyone clarify the PR fees for applicant and spouse? I saw online it is around 490 plus 550. Now is that the same for spouse? And can this be payable via credit card online?

Thanks!
