a silent week again? :'(

Yup, looks like it. I haven't heard of any nominations outside the forum either.

December folks have received a few AORs though. . More of a trickle than anything else.

Any idea if they are delaying nominations so as to spill these over into the 2017 quota whenever that will be announced ? Even if Nov applicant's nominations start around say August through September and post nomination and ITA and approval of PR can take atleast 3-4 months, Nov applicants will start landing in 2017 and not earlier. Is there anywhere where Ontario publishes quota Vs approved nominations stats ? Not sure if thats public.

Also scary news about OINP not allowing for resubmitting of incomplete deemed applications :(

Have to stay positive though.. Good times to come.. cheers!

Correct. If one hasn't received their AOR yet, it most certainly is a scary thought - if deemed incomplete, you don't get the usual 30 days to resubmit your application now. And with no new PT NOIs in sight, the options are closing down.

What would happen if Demand draft date expires?
AORs are issued before maximum 160 days, from the date the files are received. During which most of the DDs have 7-14 days, before expiry. So, O INP gets enough time to encash. If somehow, any delay, DDs would be returned for reissue from Bank.

who said there's a maximum days for AoRs?

If not worth your time, then stay back ;)

September is a very pessimistic estimate. I would expect OINP to start issuing nominations to November applications in early July at least. It is already late - It will be 5 months post AOR on July 11 for me. :( . Well, they posted the number of nominations issued in the year-end report and shocked the applicants. Around 870 applicants were nominated in 6 months. That is roughly 145 nominations a month. The number 870 might seem small at first but when taking into account that they started their program in June, they have issued ~870 nominations in 6 months. 145 nominations/month is what we consider ultra luxury now - There were only 4 nominations on the forum in the past 3 months.

Guys,

Finally got a reply from ONIP.

I was requested for additional docs on May 6th. I've sent them on 11th.
On June 1st my EE profile became ineligible, i've created a new one and sent the details on 6th.

For the additional docs that I've sent on 11th I have received an acknowledgement just now 40 days later.

Good day,

Thank you for your email, which has been noted. You will be contacted should further information/documentation be required.

Thank you for your interest in our program.

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program
[EC]

keep faith guys you should be hearing something soon.

Cheers.

rajkamalmohanram,

Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, applicants: Approximately 100 -125 on resp. threads

OINP officially declared that they nominated 870 till 31 Dec 2015.

There are few nominations issued in recent past. Yourself and other seniors are waiting for your NOMs for so long.

Now it's June and almost 6 months are over. What is the backlog that is mentioned time and again.

Where is the quota of 2700 NOMs for 2015 and 2016, I fail to understand.

Does it imply that we are not aware and OINP might be issuing AORs/NOMs to applicants who are not on this thread / forum? Please reply

I guess around 10% or even more of applicants are here on the forum.
So, If they nominated 10 people 1 of them should be here.

But also, keep in mind that the January thread is mainly for the Human Capital Streams. Whereas, the 1800 apps that OINP received in Jan consists of all streams (Investor, Human Capital, Employer-based, Master's & PhD, etc.) that they had open at that time.

I agree, however, either way the HC stream is the largest in the forum and outside too, so I guess we can't really extrapolate based on the info we share together over here, as it's quite random

Anyway, I believe that there are 1000 or even more people in the queue for nomination before me,
as there were sent around 1400 applications in November and there are people from Oct who are not nominated yet.
Moreover, if they nominate 10 people a day (20 work days a month) it will take them 5 month to finish Oct&Nov applicants.
