Dear Sir/Madam,
This refers to your recent correspondence:
A candidate who reports an age difference between the time they receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from OINP and the time a decision is to be made by OINP officers for their application could lose CRS points that had been awarded to them for their age and for FSW points, which are criteria under the Human Capital Priorities Stream of our program, and those are the criteria under which applications under this stream are assessed.
In that circumstance, an applicant will not be automatically disqualified for nomination. OINP will take into consideration the age changed after NOI by using the age at NOI as our parameter for assessment, but at the same time, applicants must continue qualifying under all other criteria.
Thank you for your interest in our program.

+1, thanks for sharing this piece of information, it could be helpful to many.shashidhar_sm said:Guys, I received a response from Ontario to the age related question we have all been talking about. And it is pretty clear - after PT NOI, your application will not be affected by points lost due to change in age.

Well.. If I read it, it states that they take it into consideration and that you are not automatically disqualified.. That is a little different than 'your app will not be affected'shashidhar_sm said:Guys, I received a response from Ontario to the age related question we have all been talking about. It looks like it works only for Provincial Nominee (67 point). Nothing is mentioned about 400 Express Entry pointshashidhar_sm said:Guys, I received a response from Ontario to the age related question we have all been talking about. Could this be why they stopped issuing AORs trying to get the change to apply to everyone going forward?DigitalDestiny said:OINP posted last update on 8-Apr-2016 (about new fund requirement for 2016). Presumably, they need to give a 4 week notice (8-Apr + 4 weeks = 6-May-2016) for these changes to be effective hence they said that these new fund requirements will be effective from 6-May-2016.
So forum members are speculating/wishfully hoping that some changes are coming post 6-May
