OINP Application sent in November 2015

Guys- I have two questions here :

1. Currently my job NOC is 2171. What will happen if I accept a new job offer that has a different NOC code? (Both jobs related to IT, but different roles and responsibilities)
2. I want to travel to Canada to meet my gf, and my file is in the decision phase since mid-May. If I choose to travel anytime in near future, will it affect my application?

1) No impact if you have at least one year experience in the past 5 years/10 years for OINP/IRCC respectively in your primary NOC.

2) No, it won't affect your application.

Btw my IELTS scores getting expired on Feb 2017. My file is in decision phase since mid-May. Now - do I give another IELTS to be on safer side? Or you guys reckon this OOPNP will drag on and on into next year.

i would wait till november to book date for ielts... and write ielts in december or jan... assuming you can find dates that is.

Its too early now. Booking for the exam in late Dec or Early Jan would be a good idea.

I think next draw will invite around 1500 people .. So from now we should see nominations coming...

I would request all October and November applicants to check their myCIC account. Nominations sometimes reflect after the draw is declared and before the 24 hr period ends.

Yes. While I am honestly happy for the people who are getting nomination, everyone would like to see a bulk nomination. Keeping applicants waiting for months without transparency (no timeline) is very unprofessional on the part of OINP.

That was the first thing I did when the October applicant reported nomination. Unfortunately, no nomination. Not yet.

My IELTS will be expired on 15th Oct, 2016. I got my nomination on 15th sept, 2016. They called me a day ago and asked updated IELTS.
It wasn't expired at that time. But, fortunately, I already gave exam 2-3 months earlier.

And anyways you'll need that new IELTS in EE profile as well. So, better to give as early as possible.
