They are very adamant about this, they only give priority to expiring work permits, not student or tourist visas I'm afraid.

I was hoping that I will get my nomination before 10th Dec so that I can be on implied status here at the university and don't have to apply for another application but it seems OINP has other plans.

If you're at the University can't you just renew your student visa?

I think you'll get a NoM by the 10th of Dec, but the NoM itself won't help your visa situation will it?

Once you get an ITA you can bridge a work permit but not a student visa as far as I know... I don't think you'll be able to stay on implied status for 6 months while they process your PR, will you?

To remain on the safe side, I had already applied for my student permit extension and hope to get by 15th Dec 2016.

Good boy! Safety first. But you'll be ok... Soon we're all be ok...

Called OINP today. The operator said that the officer will not call me as the file is already passed for decision to the senior officer. He said that I will be notified by email and courier. So that means I don't have to worry about any additional documents?

Basically this means that:
- If you get a NoM you'll receive an email from IRCC and you'll get your NoM certificate via courrier
- If you get a PFL you'll receive an email from OINP and you'll get a hard copy of the PFL via courrier

You just need to have a little patience.. I think you'll probably have you NoM by the end of the week... Good luck!

g126, I don't want to see a PFL :) after such a long time.

I got an email today saying "EE Profile NLA status(profile no longer available)" and asked to respond within 30 days. My profile expired 2 weeks back & I have created new profile, details of which I physically dropped at OINP office. Anyway, I replied to them today with new EE profile details.

Anyone has got similar email before?

I have a friend who also received the same email as you. Basically it is due to they're gonna add the points to your profile but cannot locate it. You need to notify the new profile no. to OINP office immediately and request them to connect your file to the new one. Hopefully you will receive your points soon. Congra.

You just need to follow the instructions, send them the new EE prfile number and job seeker code and a letter of explanation I think. Nothing much to worry about.

When they received the additional documents. how long it will take to reach the final decision?

I saw someone received nomination in the following week of additional documents request?

Is this really that fast???

A Jan FSW inland applicant got the nomination just after 1 week of sending the additional documents. In order to check your status kindly call OINP. I sent my ADRs on 18th Nov and on 22nd Nov, I called them and they said it is in decision phase.
