OINP Application sent in March 2016

Hi Guyz, my OINP application has been received on February 29th. At that time my passport was valid for more than 2 years since it will be expiring on July 2018. I have received my AOR on August 19th. I am just wondering since as of now my passport validity is 1 year 11 months, do I need to inform OINP about this matter? I can only renew my passport when it's 1 year maximum before expiry. Will they reject my application since I have not inform them of this matter?

I don't think you need to inform this.

Relax. not required to do anything. Many of us have earlier expiry than yours.

Could you please share the phone number? The one I call always routes to the "Enter the mailbox number". Only once in more than 50 attempts I've been able to talk to someone.

My passport expires in Nov2017. I am planning to get it reissued in Nov2016. By that time we would not have received nomination I guess. Only concern I have is that if I get ITA then I cannot update my new passport number in my EE profile. Therefore I m in two minds now. Shall I get it reissued it now only since I can give them a reason that I wanted to add my spouse name in my passport.
