Same, no update since Invitation to pre-arrival on October 5th. Medical not started yet. Any one knows if they need medical for everyone or will they exempt people who never left Canada after first arrival?

i can confirm they won't exempt "people who never left Canada after first arrival"
when was your last medical? did you submit it with your application?
if it was within last 5 years you can submit it via a webform to request for exemption

In the contrary, if you stayed in Canada more than 6 months, this would mean you will need a medical exam for any type of application, such as PR, visitor record, open work permit... Unless you have a medical exam in the last 5 years. they would except it, no need to pass a new one.

According to his table, he is tracking his application via GCkey and PR tracker. He also got some email on his status update. And he put all the information in a table.

Is there any time limit on implied status or are we supposed to apply for any confirmation of implied status? Here's my timeline

Sponsorship applied: 17th August
PA status: visitor
AOR: 13th September but it was sent by mail so received on 3rd October
SOWP filed: 4th October
Biometric request: 19th November
Biometric completed: 25th November

But this month PA's visitor status expired but since we applied SOWP 2 months ago, PA is on implied status. But do we need to submit anything for confirmation of implied status? Thanks in advance for your help.

Since you applied for a SOWP before the expiration of your status, you do not need to take any immediate action. However, if you plan to leave Canada and return, you will need to apply for a visitor visa.

To do this, you have two options:

1. Apply from outside Canada.
2. Apply within Canada. However, before applying from within Canada, you must restore your legal status through a visitor record. Once your status is restored, you can proceed with applying for a visitor visa.

I have not heard anything so far. Is is possible to get PR before Sep 2025 ( I am so stressed and worried about that

In tracking portal, it says:
-Biometric: completed
-Medical exam: Not started
-Background check: in progress
-Eligbility: Not Started
