We were finally able to catch hold of an agent friday, and were told that the application is on hold for medical surveillance clearance. They weren't sure why we didn't get an email or why the status on the portal is not explicitly clear, but the agent we spoke with was very good, and forwarded an email with instructions on reaching out to the medical surveillance team for next steps. We have not been able to reach an agent via phone yet. But we did send a follow up web form and got an interesting response.
The response basically says the correspondence was sent on Feb 15, 2023 and we should be able to see it in the Messages section of the IRCC secure account (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html). But since our application is paper based, we don't have an account here.
We went ahead and created an account, but in that site there is no way to link a citizenship application in this account. Overall, we still don't know what correspondence was sent on Feb 15th and what they need in terms of information from us.
We have again explained the situation via web form, but has anyone else faced a similar issue? Is there any way to link a paper application to the IRCC account so we can view messages? Thanks in advance!
Remember told you in my case it was the same. Please see this thread https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/citizenship-grant-application-processing-delay-medical-surveillance.788323/We were finally able to catch hold of an agent friday, and were told that the application is on hold for medical surveillance clearance. Guessing this will add delay to the overall timeline
No worries. At least you know what extra information you are being asked for. I do not think it will slow down your application that much. But in my case, I don't know anything about the so-called "additional information," and IRCC told me twice not to worry about it, even though my tracker says otherwise. I think the document being asked for also has something to do with medical surveillance. But IRCC told me that the request was not for me. What else can I do? I think you are in a more certain position than I am. Best of luck!We were finally able to catch hold of an agent friday, and were told that the application is on hold for medical surveillance clearance. I and my wife took the test on the same day. Mine was marked completed after 5 days and for my wife, it took about 12 days to be marked completed. It really doesn't matter if your husband took the test in different day.Hi folks, so me and my husband received the same date for test but I took mine first (Last Sunday) and he will take his this weekend. Does my online tracker will get updated or they will wait for husband test result? Thanks!
Is March 3 the date you sat the test? Or is it the date the tracker marked your test as compete? Please update spreadsheet
