Yeah.. last update March 15 2023. Still waiting for LPP

Still no movement for my family’s app since test completed in March. What’s baffling is lot of 2023 applicants are getting it faster - just curious how that is possible. I understand there can be variance between say Dec 2022 vs Oct 2022 but seeing May 2023 apps processing faster than ours is weird.

Thank you for that thread! We did get the email response back from the medical surveillance team, and they said we are in compliance and they have left a note on the citizenship application regarding the same. We will call IRCC maybe in a couple weeks just to check it's all good and updated.

We were finally able to catch hold of an agent friday, and were told that the application is on hold for medical surveillance clearance. They weren't sure why we didn't get an email or why the status on the portal is not explicitly clear, but the agent we spoke with was very good, and forwarded...

Correct, that is what we replied in the web form again yesterday. The web form requests have had decent turnaround - we have been getting responses in 24-48 hours though not been very helpful in getting the issue on hand resolved. Meanwhile we will keep trying to call and get hold of an agent too.

We have not been able to reach an agent via phone yet. But we did send a follow up web form and got an interesting response. The response basically says the correspondence was sent on Feb 15, 2023 and we should be able to see it in the Messages section of the IRCC secure account...

Wish I had seen this earlier. I just visited Brampton BLS office today morning and got sent back saying they are not taking passport surrender applications without a canadian passport. I have to redo it all again :(

That is interesting. We used the web form to enquire, but got a response saying an email was sent to us on Feb 23rd and please check in your junk folder etc. But that is just the test invite and not related to the additional information request. Is 1-888-242-2100 the number to call, and how hard...

Finished oath on Feb 07. Sent signed oath form on same day. Received the certificate in mailbox today. My office was Scarborough. Application status on online tracker shows closed. Glad the whole process is over. This forum was quite helpful in keeping me sane throughout :)

Got the oath ceremony email.. looks like a zoom meeting :( so another 2-4 weeks after Feb 07 to get the citizenship certification on hand.
