Seems like medicals are being extended but with the way approvals are being sent at snails pace and a backlog of 1.8 million it’s time to move on with life oh and there’s a new travel ban which has just started.
Time to make other life decisions

I did apply for a second BOWP a month ago because I had no idea when I would get an update on my PR application. Would that be automatically cancelled or do I need to withdraw it?

Cancel the application, if they haven't done any progress with that application, you have the chance that they may give you the money back.

Thank you! I sent a webform a day or so ago and got an email with this note back: "A note has been added on file to notify the responsible office that you wish to withdraw your application."

Hi guys. Anyone received PPR yet with October 2020 AOR and FSW outland?

I saw someone with November 2020 AOR, FSW....she got PPR December 1 (Ottawa VO). The way IRCC does things defies human understanding. Since when has your VO been Paris? Do you reside in France?

It depends on the country of residence (if there are any travel restrictions) and what you you will do in Canada (high demand jobs) as well as the type of documents you have provided (complex or not complex). Hope it gives you some peace, have to be patient. Also been waiting over a year, my file hasn’t been even started with. I think they are doing the best they can given the circumstances ‍ I’m seeing a lot of movement.

I think she had a PNP. Have also seen other PNP cases ( Post Oct AOR) getting pprs.

yes if they change priority they can clear out the backlog soon. One good thing is there was no CEC draw after after September. But I think CEC priority will be removed only in January.
